In case of hotels located in limited traffic areas, we will pick you up from a close meeting point. THE BOAT TOUR STARTS AT 8:30AM BUT THE HOTEL PICK-UP IS BETWEEN 7:00AM AND 7:30AM. PLEASE INSERT THE NAME OF YOUR HOTEL WHEN BOOKING AND WE WILL CONTACT YOU WITH THE EXACT PICK-UP TIME.

What To Expect

Your morning starts with pickup from your local hotel (available for select areas). You’ll be transferred to the Port of Sorrento, where you’ll board a skipper-staffed *gozzo,* a traditional Capri boat.

Boats can seat up to eight people, making for a personalized experience. They’re also small enough to reach coastal areas larger boats can’t: Pass by landmarks like an ancient Roman villa, the Cascatella waterfall, and white and green grottoes. You’ll enjoy multiple swimming stops—and snorkeling, too, if you bring your own gear. Snacks and refreshments are provided for free.

All tours visit the famous Blue Grotto, unless it’s closed for bad weather (admission tickets own expense).

Finally, you’ll be dropped off in Capri to spend anywhere from three to five hours exploring the island on your own. Get out those cameras: You’ll pass the Faraglioni rocks and the Natural Arch along the way. Grab a gelato or simply go for a stroll. The tour ends back in Sorrento with hotel drop-off.

The best thing we did on the amalfi coast! Tour guide was informative and funny and the sites were incredible. He recommended we do the chair lift to the top which was unreal! Our taxi took us to the wrong marina on the other side of the island so they sent a taxi for us and waited which we were so grateful for. And they gave us champagne! Do it ..it’s amazing.

This was probably our favorite excursion on this two-week trip to Italy. The crew with Rossario as the host was perfect, met all our needs and was just downright fun. We enjoyed the ride with narration around Capri, the Blue Grotto, and the time we got to spend on the island. We would do it again in a heartbeat.

We had an amazing time despite poor weather. Our guide Antonio was awesome and our “strawberry captain” was so adept navigating the rougher than usual water. We were picked up a short walk from our hotel with another couple. One more stop and we had seven. A short drive to the drop off where we took an elevator to the sea. After our check in we met Antonio and got on the boat. The start was a little rough due to poor weather and some rain and colder than average temps. And when we could not get into the blue grotto it was suggested we tour Capri early to avoid the heavy crowds later. What a fantastic idea and it worked out perfectly. We paid to take a semi-private shuttle to Anacapri where we rode the chair lift to the top of the island. We didn’t stay long due to the weather and got rained on the way down - but we really enjoyed it. Then we hopped the shuttle to Capri and wandered for a while. A tasty lunch was provided and we found a nice bench to eat on and look out over the main harbor from high above. Then back to the boat to see other parts of the island by sea. Visits to other grottos were spectacular and we had a great time. Would even co spider doing the trip again just for the ride! If you’re on the fence, just do it.

This trip was amazing! From the pick up service, which was right on time, to the checking in, boarding, boat trip, assistants with information and travel on the island to the sight seeing on the way back, snacks, drinks, music over all amazing! First the crew, ROSS, was hands down amazing. The knowledge he shared while passing sights along the way was perfect. The boat crew got us to see many natural formations and grottos. Was lively, keeping us all smiling, happy and laughing. Great photos, even assisting in photos. My daughter got sick and he helped her, and told me how to care for her on the island. Even offered to help if I wanted to visit a pharmacy, ( which was not needed and she felt better very quickly on land and test of day and return boat trip). Over all the crew, Ross and everyone with this tour made this day trip one we will always remember! One of the best days in Italy, with many beautiful pictures and memories to have forever. Thank you all!

It was probably one of the best days of our lives. Great boat, great hosts (driver and guide) and good company seeing as there were only 8 passengers on board. We got to know everyone really well by the end of the day. We saw all the grottos (blue, green and white) with this boat, whereas with other boats it was always dependent on time and queue. So pick this boat trip. We also saw all of the island Capri and Anacapri Anacapri is higher up on the mountain so u got to see the spectacular views plus it wasn't as crowded with lovely shops to add. So Anacapri had everything that Capri had but not as busy. Got a little swim as well near some rock formations. All in all one of the best days of our lives!

Great way to see the island. Boat ride was so much fun. Guides were fun and gave u little tidbits along the way. Views were beautiful. Fished out a blown off hat for us. Helped my elderly mom and were so sweet. Even gave her a ride back to the bus as SH was having trouble walking due to a back issue.
