There was around 2 hours travel with beautiful scenery along the way. We stopped at the place where it is near 3 borders of Israel, Jordan and Syria. We learned the history of it. We saw the beautiful view of Galilea Sea with city of Tiberias. Continued our journey to Katzrin Village. It was a lovely place to understand how the settlement lived in the past. The last stop after lunch is Mt. Bental, we learned a lot from the tour guide from the volcano was formed and the border to Syria. As said, it is a rare wonderful experience. Highly recommended.

Golan was lovely, guide/driver awful
gailsaks, Sep 2023
Running out of gas in the middle of the highway and having to figure out how to get back to TelAviv as the driver/tour guide made no attempt to help us

We apologize for the unfortunate situation you encountered during the tour. It's indeed rare, and we understand your frustration. Your feedback is important to us, and we appreciate your understanding.

Amazing tour with Yoav! He drove our small group all day while discussing in detail about the history of Israel and how it came about. He took us to see some of the most breathtaking views of the Galilee as well as the Israeli borders with Syria and Lebanon. Definitely a memorable tour, than you!
Response from Host, Aug 2023

The tour was very enjoyable. Our guide was very informative. There were no stops along the tour to sell us anything/gifts, which is sometimes done with other tours.

Thanks for this complimentary review of your tour guide, we could pass it on, if you would mention his name. Having said that, we want to express our utmost gratitude for sharing your feelings of satisfaction and the fact that you had a memorable tour to cherish.

DISAPPOINTED
Julie F, Sep 2019
The Tour Guide was very informative . I did read where we were going to visit hot springs so I pack for a quick swim but did not even see them? Disappointed . Jordan river Baptism site , we had 10 minutes NOT LONG ENOUGH which included toilet break I took no money and was not informed that you had to pay to go to toilet. ALSO NOT IMPRESSED AS WE HAD OVER TWO DRIVE BACK TO HOTEL. I also thought reading the days activities that LUNCH AND DRINKS where included but NO NOT INCLUDED FOR THE PRICE $195.21 . TOO EXPENSIVE TO SIT IN A BUS ALL DAY . I also expected to see around and experience a Kibbutz but it was just a money making LUNCH BREAK that was NOT INCLUDED.
Worth the long trip

The Golan Heights was an experience not to be missed. Our guide was very informative and we enjoyed his commentary when we could hear it. Unfortunately some of our fellow travellers appeared to be not interested and I feel they should have been told to keep their voices down so others could hear what was being said.

Do not go on this tour when the weather is bad! rain and fog. We missed out of the beautiful view as the guide did not take us to the hot spring of Hammat Gader. Viator should have cancelled the tour and refunded us the money.

An extraordinary tour and opportunity to see half of Israel. Our guide,Eliezer, is very knowledgeable and happy to share his experiences. I learned so much about the history and background to many of the conflicts in the area. I can really recommend this tour and Eliezer. Definitely a must when in Israel.

Once again I would suggest better vehicle maintenance...we had issues from our first prolonged rest stop...with the driver-guide on the phone for very extended periods trying to remedy the situation. Our van finally died near the end of the tour at a stop above the Sea of Galilee. We waited close to 3 hours for a ride back to Tel Aviv...and missed the last place listed on the tour. Also the tour had listed a hot springs but when our guide was asked by other tourists about it, they were told it was not on this tour..puzzling as we had seen it listed as well. The tour did seem a bit rushed probably because of all the delays. It was a great tour however because it was both emotional and informative. We saw the borders and the topography and gained a powerful realization of Israel's amazing existence and of the constant vigilance needed to maintain it. We really liked our guide.

It was really nice to have only three people the minimum necessary for the tour to operate on this tour. As a result we had a more intimate tour. Our guide was excellent. We visited the talmudic village of Katzrin to see the ruins. Then we climbed to a lookout over the border and we were able to chat with the UN peacekeepers stationed there. It was interesting to visit a lesser known part of Israel. If you want to get off the beaten path, this tour is for you.

Very good tour guide with lots of great stories. I think the trip was well worth the money! The only negative about the trip was the restaurant at the Sea of Gallile this company seems to have an agreement with. The food there was really medioker no flavours at all at 80 NIS.
