We had a wonderful time during our excursion with our tour guide, Juan. He was on time, courteous, professional, and packed snacks according to our dietary restrictions. He was also very knowledgeable about the history and science behind the locations we were visiting. It felt like we had another friend in our group with us. He did not rush us and was very laid-back. I highly recommend this excursion.

Absolutely incredible experience! Juan was so much fun to spend the day with, and you could feel his respect and admiration for these amazing natural spaces. Both the open air cenote and the Caves of Sac Atun were magical, life memory experiences. Juan never rushed us, and it felt like he went out of his way to ensure we understood and experienced just how special these places are. 100% recommend and would happily go again!

Definitely worth going with the private tour. Our tour guide Juan was very knowledgeable, and he took us to parts of the Cenote not accessible to the general public. It was incredible, and it was so cool to have a more intimate experience. Definitely the highlight of our trip!

Our guide picked us up right on time. We had a pleasant drive to a local cenote. There were no real crowds - one family of 4 and then later one couple. We had a pleasant swim and then traveled to the next cenote — the cave. This one is not so much an underground river as a series of flooded caverns. We swam through the walls and formations (wearing life jackets) and peering underwater with our masks and flashlights. It is quiet and serene down there. It is a very unique experience. And when we got back above ground, we ate mangoes and were entertained by the local monkeys.

Loved our tour with Juan. We had a private tour and he picked us up at our hotel in his car. We first went to an open cenote and had the place to ourselves. Beautiful and peaceful. The second cenote was an underground cave that was mostly through water. We walked some and floated mostly through the cave. The cave part was a good 2 hours and it got a little low ceiling at a few points but was beautiful and such a unique experience. Juan was very kind and interesting. A wonderful guide for this tour. Five stars for a unique experience you can only do in this area of the world.

Juan was an amazing guide! He picked us up at our hotel, his car was very nice and clean, and a very safe driver. He took us to a peaceful cenote and had snorkel gear so we could look underwater. Then we went to a cenote that was an underwater cave system. We were provided wet suits, life jackets, flashlights and snorkels again. Juan took us through the cave system and it was really amazing and magical. He explained how the cenotes are formed and even took pictures for us and sent them to me later. He provided drinks and snacks in the car. This was truly a unique experience that I had no idea existed here! It was a completely private tour and so glad we went!
