The wine tasting have to be reserved in advance so specific at the reservation time if you want it or not. Please consider the wine tasting is for everybody/anybody We will wait you just outside your cruise with a your name's sign Departure is scheduled 15-30 minutes after dock. We suggest to choose the most close time availability to no lose something Cruise docks 7-7:30am - Suggested departure time is 7:45am Cruise docks 8-8:15am - Suggested departure time is 8:15am Cruise docks 8:30-9am - Suggested departure time is 9:15am Cruise docks 10am - Suggested departure time is 10:15am Please consider if your Cruise docks 7am and you choose a departure tour at 10:15, this means you will not have enough time to run the full itinerary. As private tour, we will wait you in front of your Cruise so don't worry in case you late to desembark

The countryside, towns and winery visit were more than we expected. Our driver/guide, Massimo, AKA Max, was prompt and easy to locate at the port. His warm, welcoming personality really added to the quality of the tour. Definitely worth the cost to be able to set our own pace.
A Lovely Day in the Tuscan Countryside

If you want to sample the Tuscan countryside, this is a good day trip for you. San Gimignano is beautiful, we probably could have skipped it though. Siena is fabulous but very crowded. Find out where you want to have lunch in advance. The highlight of the tour, and we should have allowed more time, was the chianti tasting. Set in a gorgeous farm house, it was a treat we will remember.

Wonderful day. Lucca was our guide and he was terrific...knowledgeable, friendly and patient. Would highly recommend asking for him. The visit to the winery piaggio alora was a treat and I ordered the reserve chianti to be sent as it was great.
