    A fantastic sunrise Jeep tour with our driver Wayan. Very informative and entertaining. Gave us a great history of mountain and local life. Sunrise was amazing. We will recommend him to our friends when they come here.
    Highly recommended jeep tour

    We were picked up at 03: 45 very promptly by a polite driver (Wayan) who ensured we were comfortable at all times, he also kept in contact throughout the day so we could manoeuvre through the day with ease. We took the Jeep up Mount Batur to watch the sunrise, where our driver took some nice photos, the next stop was the lava points. Afterwards we were taken to a hot spring, had a complementary lunch and was taken to a coffee plantation Overall an excellent day and great value for money, would definitely recommend

    We are lucky. Managed to see sunrise. The whole experience is so seamless. Darta, our driver to the foot of mountain is so friendly and punctual. Wayan, the Jeep driver is so polite and helped us take so many nice pictures. A 6 stars package. Looking forward to have more excursions with you guys.

    Beautiful sunrise from Mt Batur! Took a jeep ride up a rough dirt road to see the sunrise. It is chaotic to say the least. We were given "breakfast" of 3 eggs, 2 banana sandwhichs and a candy bar each to share between 4 people. There are a lot of jeeps on the mountain. After the sunrise we were taken to see the black lava fields, which wasn't on the itinerary. As 4 single women it made us a little uncomfortable to be taken out into the middle of know where without knowing what was going on. After we went to the hot springs and then to a coffee plantation. The coffee plantation had great coffee and tea. The one thing that was definitely was clear, we are larger women and it was clear we were being talked about by the staff providing the tour and the fellow tour guides.

Regarding about the issues that you experienced during this Jeep tour : July to August are peak season and there are a lot of travelers taking Jeep tour that definitely bit crowded on the mountain. Visit black lava is the part of the itinerary and it has been written on the tour details. We do apologize if this tour didn't meet your expectation. Have a good day.
    Challenging but worth it

    A memorable experience but this is not an easy hike for petite people. I consider myself moderate fitness / gym 4-5 times a week but I found this hike particularly difficult as a lot of it had high steps up. The way down was very slippery. Thankfully we had a great guide in Nick. He helped me up and down and didn't leave my side when I needed it! Nick was also very happy to slow the pace down when needed and take breaks. Wear shoes you don't mind getting muddy because they will get very muddy. Unfortunately we couldn't see the sunrise as it was too foggy but I can imagine how amazing it would be with it. Breakfast was very filling too; choice of tea or coffee with banana sandwiches, a boiled egg, chocolate rice crispy bar and fruits
