Mount Batur Sunrise view

Sunrise view was good. Guides were nice and helped with taking photos etc. We took 2 jeeps and one of the jeep was not functioning properly, so we had to wait at the side of the road in the middle of the night with young child for 30 minutes before the replacement jeep came.

The sunrise jeep tour in Ubud, particularly the road to the top of Mount Batur, offers a unique, off-road experience. Waking up at 2:30 am might seem daunting, but the view makes it absolutely worth it. The journey in the special jeep is thrilling, and reaching the summit provides a beautiful and peaceful scene as the sun rises over Bali. Mount Batur Sunrise Jeep Tour with Hot Spring

Our driver Arya was very punctual and easygoing and took us to all the places we wanted to see. I especially liked the midnight drive where we could see lots of stars on the way up to Mt Batur. When we got to Mt Batur we took the jeep. The jeep driver Obeng was enthusiastic and took very good photos for both of us. We had an amazing experience seeing the sunrise at Mt Batur and then the black lava with Obeng. After the black lava, we headed to the hot spring and a final coffee plantation visit with Arya as our driver again. We enjoyed soaking in the hot and cold spring pools and the coffee tasting at the coffee plantation.

Had a great morning to see the sunrise at Mount Batur . Dedi our taxi driver was on time at 3.15 am to pick us up from the hotel. He was a good driver and very efficient. I have his name if I go back to Bali . Santi the 4x4 driver who took us the mountain was excellent also . Provided us with breakfast and hot chocolate and took some great photos and videos for us . A great trip thank you !!

Amazing experience with full of surprises. Only go from April till Oct, when less cloud amd rain. Bring drink and food, as the prices gets quatripled up the mountain.

This was a really great trip our driver Sentana, picked us up from our hotel and drove us to the drop of site in a private air conditioned taxi. We then transferred to the Jeep which had a retractable cover which we needed as it rained heavily during the trip. Our Jeep driver Mamoe, was brilliant and managed to get us to the top and park in a great spot to await the sunrise he even took photos of us. Just be aware that it gets really busy at the top. Take a rain coat or an umbrella. We then headed to the black lava fields interesting and a fun drive. We met up with our driver that took us to a coffee plantation and we tasted the coffee.

Lovely view from the top. The ride up in the jeep was a lot of fun. The lava rock is a must see. On the way back we stopped at a coffee roasting place, with a lot of different and tasteful coffee and tea.

Jeep driver was extremely hospitable and shared information about the local area and history. Sunrise waa beautiful in spite of the crowds at the view point. Make sure to opt for the earlier pick up time to ensure a better spot for viewing.

We had the most amazing time. Dipta our jeep driver was brilliant, 10/10 and captured beautiful pictures of us as the sun was rising. This day created a memory we’ll cherish forever. I’d recommend it to everyone! (The banana sandwiches were not a hit for us but that’s just our own preferences)

Trip was very good. We started with an early pick up around 3:15 and headed to the mountain. Once we go to the second driver (for the jeep), it was very cold. Please wear appropriate clothes and bring a blanket. They also rent out blankets there as well! We headed up the very Rocky Mountain for about 30 minutes. Then once we parked, we ate some breakfast (sandwiches, candy bar, eggs, and hot chocolate). We waited about an hour for the sub to rise but we got good parking. It was amazing! After that we saw the black lava/sand. Then we met our original driver to take us to the hot spring. The hot spring is why I give this a 4/5 stars. One of the pools was very dirty, and not warm. The other two pools were warmer, but there were flies everywhere! So many flying on your towels and in your face, it was irritating so we left early. Overall we had a good driver, everyone was friendly and we got good pictures.

Interesting journey for folks who have not experience the view of sunrise from a volcano (alive). The driver who took us from our hotel to the meeting point, a 2 hours journey and then 2 off roaders waiting for us to take us up to Mt Batur in 30 min. We did not realise it was that cold.....16 celcius. Had a fall and driver help with cleaning the wound after dipping into hot spring. Overall it was a very good experience and thank you to the team....and a friendly dog which was too happy to play.

The tour was a nice experience. There were two drivers, one who drove us to the city where the Mt. Batur is located, and one who drove us with the Jeep up the mountain. both guys were nice and polite. They also took some great photographs of us and made sure we were comfortable and warm during the ride. The swim in the hot spring afterwards was also a nice experience.

What an incredible day!! We had a fantastic time our drivers were brilliant. Adi our driver to get to Mount Batur was very friendly and helpful. Mertha our jeep driver was great as well as taking some incredible photos. The ride up Mount Batur was a little rocky but well worth it for the view. We really enjoyed the day so thankyou!

Everything was perfect! Driver picked us up from hotel n Ubud right on time! No waiting around. Car was very comfortable so you could even have a nap if you wanted. Water provided. Then we met our second driver with a Jeep. Glad that they have 2 drivers for safety as it’s a very difficult drive with jeep up as well as night drive from Ubud to start point. Jeep did fantastic job! Very polite, very interesting person. Was nice to chat with both of them and get to know them. Drive with a jeep was very impressive and the sunrise too! The pictures they took of us are so good! Loved them all and very grateful for that. After sunrise we went to see black lava and black sand! That was very impressive! Never seen anything like that before! Also the drive thru the village was very lovely seeing the kids going school and people just doing their morning activities. 10 out of 10. They went above and beyond to make our trip special’

Schöne Romantische Jeep-Tour zum Sonnenaufgang

Die Jeep-Tour haben wir recht spontan gebucht. Am Abend vor der Abholung hat uns der Fahrer auf WhatsApp geschrieben, wann er uns genau am nächsten Morgen abholt, und zwar um 03:15 Uhr. Nach einer knappen Stunde von Ubud sind wir am Fuss des Bergs angekommen und wurden von einem Jeep übernommen - wir waren nur zu zweit, also sehr bequem. Der Fahrer war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, hat uns viel über die Insel und die Sehenswürdigkeiten erzählt und dann ging es durch den Wald steile Hänge hinauf - sehr aufregend. Auf dem Berg angekommen haben wir eine schöne Stelle gefunden und während wir auf den Sonnenaufgang gewartet haben (ca. 45 Minuten) haben wir zwar ein einfaches aber leckeres Frühstück und Tee erhalten. Der Sonnenaufgang war wunderschön, die Gegend um den Berg sehr pittoreske. Während er ganzen titelt hat unser Fahre viele Fotos und Videos von uns gemacht, die sehr gelungen sind. 👌🏻 Die Tour ging bei uns weiter zu einem Lavafeld und anschließend hatten wir eine Raftingtour gebucht - auch äußerst empfehlenswert. Im Großen und Ganzen eine sehr gelungener Tag mit sehr schönen Erlebnissen und sehr freundlichen Menschen. Wir können die Tour zu 100% weiterempfehlen! 5⭐️
