A New Meaning to the 4-hour Lunch

Dennis from Venice was an excellent guide to take us on our food and wine tasting tour. We got to experience local food in some out-of-the-ordinary places, and enjoy the wines of Venice, including some ombré following the protocols of our new friends in Venezia. Overall, it was a great experience and a lot of fun. The pastry from our first stop was yummy. And the scallops with the ombré were a highlight.

Our tour with Julia was excelllent. The food was amazing and the places we went to , so great. We were able to taste food that we wouldn’t have tried. We visited the fish market. So cool. We had family with two young children which was the only drawback as they didn’t keep up so we were rushed at most spots and would have loved more time. Julia was the best.

Loved our guide very informative but felt too much food was offered and very little time to enjoy the food and wine /rushed and had to stand in the street to eat Tour group consisted of seniors , screaming children and unattended which caused issues with disruption children should not be allowed on a wine food tour.

Our guide Vanessa was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and humorous taking us through multiple food venues. Along the way, she offered local knowledge on history, culture and how to navigate Venice.
