Cecilia was our tour guide and she was excellent. She shared with us her extensive knowledge of Venetian history and food ( we were very full by the end of the tour). As would be expected on a Venetian food tour there were a number of seafood offerings but for those who don’t enjoy fish there were plenty of options. She took us to areas which were truly hidden gems. Would highly recommend this tour.

Wonderful and authentic

We had an excellent time on this food tour! Our tour guide Dani was so wonderful - I really appreciate that she explained the history of the city, the food and took us to local places where the food was fantastic. We did the 10:30 am started with espresso, biscotti and made our way to savory items, wine, spritz and dessert. The portion sizes were great, and we were so full at the end! I think it really represented the full range of foods in Venice. Come hungry and have a minimal breakfast if doing it in the AM!

Maria was an absolutely wonderful guide for our food tour. The food and drinks were all wonderful,especially enjoyed the Spritz Select, and she was very knowledgeable about what we were eating and the areas that she took us to. It even ended up being a private tour for the 3 of us as the others who were to partake never showed.

We were lucky enough to have Clementine all to ourself (me & my partner) for the tour this morning/afternoon. We got to try so many amazing delicacies from wonderful places that we wouldn’t have found if we were walking around aimlessly ourselves. Every dish was unique and so tasty, we left feeling VERY full but very satisfied. Clementine was an amazing guide, so friendly and funny with great conversation and knowledge of the area. I loved moving from place to place to try different foods. I loved the polpette (Venetian meatballs) and all the varieties of cichetti the best. It was a very hot day and our host Daniella made sure that we were in the shade and AC as much as possible. She was also a fountain of knowledge about the Canareggio District, which made the tour delicious as well as informative! I would recommend doing it at the start of your stay in Venice so you can go back to the establishments later on. I went back for more polpette in the evening even though I was stuffed from the tour!

We did this tour as a family and the kids (13 & 11yo) really enjoyed it! The tour guide suggested different things for kids where applicable- like barley coffee and ginger non alcoholic spritz. It was one of our favorite experiences in Venice!
