This tour was excellent. The van was comfortable with water also provided by the driver. Our guide, Josef, was very knowledgeable and I learned a lot about Salzburg, Vienna, and Austria in general during his commentary on the ride there. The lakes region was beautiful, and the brief tour in Salzburg was great before ample free time.

This tour was fantastic! I really liked the small group rather than being in a large bus. The tour guide/driver took us through the lakes area on the way to Salzburg and the lakes were so beautiful! The van was spacious and comfortable. We stopped at a place on the way where we were able to use the WC and buy some breakfast/snacks. The tour of Salzburg was very informative and customized to our small group (which was more interested in Mozart sites than Sound of Music sites, although we did see both). We had about 2 hours on our own to find lunch, see sites, and buy souvenirs. The van also had iPads at each seat where we could watch The Sound of Music (which I did on the ride back). We loved our tour guide, Robert. Highly recommend this tour if you are in Vienna and only have one day to see Salzburg.

Josef was a knowledgeable and very personable tour guide. He educated us on more than our tour, but about Austrian culture and life in general. He was a great driver as well! It started out rainy but the sun came out once we got to Salzburg. He gave us a walking tour and he allowed us ample time for us to explore on our own. My family visited the quaint cemetry and visited the Hohensalzburg fortress. A wonderful tour!

This really is a nice and private tour. I was a bit concerned about reviews with lack of guide but we had no issues. Robert was knowledgeable, our group had total 6 people with 3 solo and our family of 3. Enjoyed the guide and information. It is a long drive back but that’s the case with geography (other choice is to spend a day in Salzburg)

We enjoyed the lake region - beautiful. Salzburg was very interesting and lovely. Robert our guide was very knowledgeable. The trip was just too long for us - nothing to be done, but the three hour drive back was difficult.

Salzburg is a beautiful city and fabulous scenery en route. Small group tour with very knowledgeable guide. Comfortable journey with scenic stopping points for photos and comfort break stops included. And after a guided tour we had free time to explore ourselves and have drinks/food. We loved our day out and would very highly recommend this trip. Easy to book and communicate throughout with the company.

Lake region was not accessible due to weather. Driver tried several times to reach a visita, but we really couldn’t see anything - a waste of time! We should have proceeded to Salzburg. The time in Salzburg was too short could have used several more hours. The driver was safe, very knowledgeable and friendly. He gave us a detailed description of Vienna as we left the city, pointing out various sights of interest. The tour of Salzburg was good, wish we had listening devices as it was sometimes difficult to hear as the streets were crowded. Again, not enough time to see more than one sight.

Great day trip to Salzburg and lake region. The driver/guide Josef was excellent and shared lots of useful information and was accomodating of all the guests. Visited so many of The Sound of Music locations plus Mozart's birth house and church where he was baptized. Highly recommend this tour!
