The passion for good food and the reciprocal experiences in the restaurant world have given life to our project: to combine gastronomic passion, family traditions and genuine food cooked with the products of our land. Already Papa Beniamino (BÈ), he delighted his guests from all over the world in the 60s, offering them culinary experiences. Since 2019 we have dedicated ourselves full time to your idea of ​​​​hospitality "like in a family". For this cooking class, you’ll be welcomed into a local’s home — in Praiano, between the towns of Amalfi and Positano — where you’ll wander the gardens, sip wine, and get to preparing ancient family recipes. This tour stands out by combining a tour of Cortecorbo vineyard with a pizza- or pasta-making class. After pickup from Amalfi, head to the land of Cortecorbo near Montemarano, where you explore a vineyard and cantina with a local winemaker. Afterward, learn to make pizza in a wood-fired oven, or hand-made pasta—and relax while enjoying your meal with appetizers and tastings of about six different local wines.

The history of our family winery began many years ago, initially with the construction of the agricultural building between 1820 and 1880, including the ancient cellar. In 1880 our great-grandfather, Lorenzo Basileo, began producing wines and created "La Cantina Basileo". These old and trusted methods continue today, including the harvesting of grapes by hand. Located at about 400 meters above sea level, the sloping terraces covered by traditional wooden pergolas show an environment in harmony with nature. The production of Basileo, all red wines, consists of: the first line called TERRAE MARIS containing "TINTORE" wine in a percentage lower than "Piedirosso" and finally, the third line formed by reserve, preserved in oak barrels. The tasting begins with a visit to the vineyard and the cellars to end with the tasting of three wines accompanied by autochthonous foods produced directly.

Enjoy an intimate introduction to Italian dining, led by a local cesarina (chef), during a private dining experience in Positano. After shopping like a local at the nearby market—accompanied by your private cesarina—you'll return to their home for an exclusive cooking demonstration. You'll assist in the preparation of food but leave the cooking itself to a professional, leaving you ample time to relax.

Enjoy this hands-on small-group pasta-making experience in Praiano. Learn how to roll out sfoglia (sheets of egg pasta) by hand and how to prepare two different kinds of pasta dishes from scratch from a local home cook. Plus, learn how to prepare classic tiramisu. The Apicella family has been cultivating the land for generations and until the early 1970s produced excellent table wine. The first vintage to be marketed is that of 1977, around 3000 bottles of Tramonti red wine, which kick off the Giuseppe Apicella winery and thirty years of success. Apicella is the historic brand of viticulture on the Amalfi Coast. The first to bottle the wine in Tramonti, a true agricultural lung and safeguard of the biodiversity of the territory, he has always balanced his production with a traditional and non-squealed style. The tasting begins with a visit to the historic pre-phylloxera A' Scippata family vineyard, a pergola 5 minutes away on foot from the cellar. Afterwards we continue with a visit to the cellar with an explanation of the production process, fermentation of red and white wines, stabilization and ageing. Tasting of the wines in production accompanied by typical Tramontini products (cheeses, salami, toasted bread)
