In the center of Amsterdam, the Royal Palace (Koninklijk Paleis) is the official state palace of King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands. It is used for state visits and gala dinners and is often open to the public for tours of its lavish rooms.
Jaap, our guide, was quite engaging and quick with answers. A nice little tour, which was only brought down by the windy cold bite in the air. Definitely will recommend this.
Alexander captured our attention with his knowledge of the history of Amsterdam, his recommendations based on each individuals interests and his personal experiences living in Amsterdam. It was a delightful way to spend 2.5 hours.
We had an awesome time on this tour. Sebastian was great with his knowledge and enthusiasm about Amsterdam.
He pointed out many cool things about the city and was kind enough to suggest a neat “distillery bar” that we greatly enjoyed. (Thanks for the tip Sebastian, we loved it there)
You won’t be disappointed in choosing this tour.
The guide, Rood, was very friendly, entertaining and knowledgeable. We enjoyed seeing the different areas and getting our bearings for our time here in Amsterdam. Highly recommend this tour for your first day!
Ruud was eccentric, charismatic, knowledgeable, passionate, and hilarious. He made sure we were all okay throughout the tour and that everyone was able to make some memories. I loved learning about the history and seeing these magnificent structures. This tour lasted the whole time and we enjoyed every moment of it.
The guide (his name is Yap, if I remember correctly) is humorous and entertaining. He was able to walk through the 2.5hrs tour without any awkward moments and he shows passion in educating us the history of Netherlands and Amsterdam
A great experience and a very knowledgeable tour guide. What I liked about it the most us the fact they take you to hidden places and not so obvious touristic spots. So you do have a chance to see the real Amsterdam. I strongly recommend this tour.
