The seawater Dubai Creek (Khor Dubai)—which flows between Deira and Bur Dubai in the historic center of the United Arab Emirates city—is the reason for Dubai's very existence. It’s been widened many times during the last century and, today, it's often full of abra (wooden water taxis) ferrying passengers between the souks of Deira on the northeastern bank and the historic district of Bur Dubai on the southwestern bank.

Lovely Old Dubai
Adham, our guide was very organised, engaging and informative. We learned a lot about the ‘old Dubai’ and it’s history. Lots of interesting things to see. There was a child on our trip who was very unwell and coughing over everything which made everyone a bit anxious. Are there rules about this? Could the guide carry masks and offer them to people coughing for the safety of everyone else?

Tour with lunch
Our tour guide Fesal was really great. He shared so many information and was always patient and very considerate with all of us. The tour went smoothly as planned. The van was clean with a container full of cold bottled water. The driver was very efficient as well. The lunch was worth it with very large servings and we ate in a private traditional dining area.
