What To Expect

Your journey of discovery begins when you meet your guide and your small group (maximum 15 travelers including you) at a hotel by Dubai Creek. Sip, snack and sample several different tastings, including tea, coffee, dates, chocolate, and street food, as you wander Dubai’s old town.

Explore Al Seef, a reconstructed heritage district, then stroll along the creek to the Bastakia Quarter and Al-Fahidi Historical Neighborhood, learning about Dubai’s history and culture as you walk. Capture photos from a viewpoint, then visit the Dubai Museum, set in the fort that’s the emirate’s oldest building, and practice your bargaining at the Old Souk.

After crossing the creek in a private abra boat just for your group, enjoy a food tasting in the Dubai Spice Souk. Your tour finishes at the Dubai Gold Souk, the perfect place to buy a romantic souvenir.

Our tour guide Humsi, not sure of the spelling, was incredibly knowledgeable, willing to answer questions, but above all, a true comedic talent that brought life to the tour. I highly recommend this tour. It was my favourite tour out of all that I saw in Dubai.

Really recommend this tour, fantastic area of old Dubai and great looking around the Souks with the guide giving you excellent tips on how to barter! Our guide Saif was fantastic ! Really knowledgeable and made the tour fun ! The trip included enough time to look and purchase and also refreshments and local snacks. Really enjoyed the experience. Advise to have good footwear as walking including so need to be comfortable

Our guide, Saif was both knowledgeable and warm which is the key highlight to the tour. The experience itself is interesting and would be something challenging for individual travellers to figure out, thus this is a great option. Suggestion; have more focus on the food and the food stall itself to give an enhanced experience as this was a key I personally felt was missing.

Our tour guide Saif did a fantastic job of explaining the history of the city, and took us to the spice and gold souks and helped us negotiate the best prices. Our driver Kausar went above and beyond! He picked us up from our hotel and then on the way back we changed the pickup location and time and he went out of his way to be extremely accommodating. Love the hospitality in Dubai. One of the best in the world!

We really enjoyed our tour of Old Dubai with Saif! He was incredibly informative, super conversational, and funny. The tour began in Al Seef where we walked through the Old Souk to the Dubai Creek. We enjoyed the boat ride over to the Spice Souk. We purchased goods at the store where Saif demonstrated traditional Arabic spices/herbs; highly recommend purchasing from them- we received a discount and they were super friendly. Ended the tour at the Gold Souk. Highly recommend!
