Oceanico is the only group of marine biologists that are studying the populations of dolphins and whales in Huatulco. Our knowledgeable guides share their knowledge offering you an in depth look into the lives of the dolphins, whales and sea turtles. We are the only organization in Huatulco that uses an underwater microphone to find and listen to the whales and dolphins. This also ensures we have the most sightings in Huatulco and increases the amount of information we can collect for research and conservation. Join Huatulco's marine wild life experts to explore both the oceanic zone and the coral reef ecosystem of Huatulco! We start with 2 hours of exploring offshore where we can find up to 7 different species of dolphins, sea turtles, manta rays and sometimes even tropical whales. Afterwards we return to the coast for 2 hours of exploring the famous bays of the Huatulco National Park. We will cruise through several of the bays; Cacaluta, Maguey, Organo, Santa Cruz and Chahue. Depending on the marine conditions our guide will choose the best site for snorkeling the coral reef where we can see tropical reef fish, often turtles and rays. Throughout the tour our Naturalist Guide will share information about the many species we see.

Join our marine wild life experts for a private, fun and informational coastal cruise to visit all of the beautiful bays of the Huatulco National Park and snorkel two of the best coral reefs. There is a maximum of just 8 guests on our 2022 custom built boat that has a bathroom, canvas roof and swim ladder. We have brand new CRESSI snorkeling equipment for rent. As we cruise along the coast admiring the bays of the National Park we may see dolphins, sea turtles, manta rays, many species of marine birds and from mid November to mid April we can see Humpback whales. Our tour includes an in water snorkeling guide to show you the best parts of the reef and point out the amazing reef species. Our team of bilingual Marine Biologists brief our guests on the coastal and reef ecosystems of Huatulco. Also, our bilingual marine biologist guides have materials to explain the different species we have seen while snorkeling and cruising the famous bays of the Huatulco National Park.
