How to get there

The museum is located across from St. Andrew's Old Course, about a 5-minute walk from the town center. If you're coming from Edinburgh, you can take a train to Leuchars, catch a bus, or take a taxi the rest of the way. If you have a car, park at the adjacent Bruce Embankment parking lot. Parking is free between November and March.

The museum and shop are open throughout the year, every day of the week except for select major holidays. Weekends are generally busier, so come on a weekday to miss the crowds. Note that both the museum and the shop open an hour early—and stay open an hour later—from April through the end of October.
