The Swiss Cheese Fondue which we are going to cook is after a recipe which has passed down many generations of my family. So it is a super traditional Fondue. Also the Chelli is a drink which is very famous for this town. You wont find it in many other places. Last thing is the location. Lungern is a very charming and beautiful small village within the Swiss Alps next to a lake. Also the house is a very old house which is also a typical house for this region of Switzerland.

Hi! Are you looking for an unforgettable adventure amidst the Swiss Alps, far away from the crowds with delicious homemade food? As a local tour guide I would like to show you a magical and thrilling 1.5 hour hike above Wengen. It's offering breathtaking views of Jungfrau and Silberhorn in sunset time. Our destination is a scenic point where we'll prepare real homemade Cheese Fondue surranded by the alpine beauty. After a picturesque dinner against the backdrop of a sunset casting golden hues on the 4,000-meter peaks, we'll descend back to Wengen, soaking in the enchanting vistas. Difficulty level: MODERATE Elevation difference: 230m up Total trail length: 4.3km * Each participant will receive a small backpack with a few items needed to prepare Fondue, but they won't be heavy. We'll return to Wengen trainstation before nightfall.
