Valentin was an EXCELLENT guide. Well worth the time. This tour was limited to a small group of 6 riding in a van. We were able to visit several locations, from bunkers to Omaha beach to the US cemetery. Also got great recommendations for other locations to visit which we took him up on.

The American cemetery was moving and we were there for the lowering of the flag and taps. Charles gave us a great tour and included many historical anecdotes. It poured and lightning and thunder, but it did not deter our experience.

Seeing the beaches and hearing the history of the actual battles in Normandy was so impactful. Visiting the memorials demonstrated the sacrifices that were made by so many to protect the freedoms we enjoy today. Our tour guide, Matt, was excellent.

Best tour guide in France

This D Day tour was one of our favorite adventures during our 10 day trip to France and London. Our tour guide Matt was AMAZING! He was a wealth of knowledge! He shared so many stories that really helped us better understand World War II and the great sacrifices that were made to preserve our freedoms. We only had time for a half day tour but wish we could have spent a full day with Matt. In fact, we wish he could have been our personal tour guide for everything we visited this trip. If we ever return to Normandy, we will most definitely request Matt again!

Matt was an excellent guide! Very knowledgeable about the history of D-Day and brought it to life for us. He answered all of our questions along the way. There were some showers here and there but overall we were lucky with the weather and even saw a rainbow shining over Omaha Beach. We enjoyed every minute of this tour.

This tour could not have been better. Matt - our tour guide - had clearly done extensive research on the history of D-Day and the region and was able to bring events to life through his story telling. He added lots of colour and context to events that we would never have received from a self tour or museum visit. We had members of our group aged from early teens to seniors and everyone loved the tour. Highly recommend!!

Speechless! We did this tour on a cold, windy, and rainy day and it honestly was the best way to experience Normandy and Omaha beach. To know that it was more of a realistic environment for our brave men storming the shores of Normandy were not the greatest made the experience that much better! Don’t hesitate to attend this tour! Worth every penny/euro.
