Hello Emma,
Thank you for your review, feedback from our customers is always appreciated and a moment of growth indeed.
I would like to clarify a few points in order to be as transparent as possible also for future clients.
The wine cellar team takes 30 minutes of time with our guests for an introduction in English on the Bordeaux vineyards with a tasting of several wines (as a normal guest normally you don't have access to this service), and we assure you the tasting is not for free.
Moreover, Bordeaux does not have a deeply rooted tradition of street food. For this reason, it is not possible to have "small bites" in different places, but if you really want to know the gastronomic tradition of the city you have to taste local dishes (including, precisely, the main dish at the restaurant).
In fact, the ingredients used for the dish you tasted are all produced in the region and the dishes offered are typical of the South West too.
We are sorry if the explanation regarding the dish was not satisfactory. We will certainly use your feedback to improve our tour in the future.
We want to mention that the tour consists of 5 different stops, we eat a lot and all typical recipes of quality so we believe that the price/quality ratio is valuable.
In any case, we respect your opinion and hope to make you change your mind and have you as a customer again (in Bordeaux or in the other cities where we are present).
