Om du letar efter en mattur är detta inte det. Vi kom hungriga/åtte inte frukost eftersom de flesta matturer matar dig tills du inte kan andas. Det var inte fallet för den här turnén. Vi hade 1 canale (liten tårta), 2 bitar choklad och några bitar spansk iberco skinka. Varför vi hade spansk skinka på en fransk turné är mycket förvirrande. Mer av en historietur med ett mellanmål eller två

Kunde se mycket av Bourdeaux på en halv dag. Dessa omfattade flera stadsdelar, gamla stadsportar och monument. Reseguiden var ny på jobbet och skyndade oss för mycket. Hon lät oss inte presentera oss. Stoppen för canele, korv, choklad och kaffe var bra.

Trevlig guide men detta var absolut inte en gourmetmattur med några mått mätt. Erbjud inte detta igen. Fråga vem som helst vad en gourmettur är. Du besöker och äter på anläggningarna. Om detta inte kan ordnas och betalas för ditt företag, gör det inte och sluta lura folk

Vår guide var utmärkt och kunnig om Bordeaux och dess historia. Vi turnerade i staden och plockade upp lokala bröd, ostar och kött längs vägen, träffade och engagerade oss med butiksinnehavarna. Jag rekommenderar starkt denna turné.

Vi började vår turné med Deborah i regnet, men hennes soliga disposition gjorde oss alla glada över att vara där. Hon gav massor av information när vi promenerade runt charmiga Bordeaux. Vi stannade först för bakverk och kaffe, och alla plockade ut något till efterrätt senare. Vårt nästa stopp var på en mycket berömd chokladbutik som överträffade mina förväntningar. Vi smakade sedan fantastiska lokala ostar, en som kallas "årets bästa". Återigen, vi valde ut några för senare. Vi åkte sedan till en härlig lunch med vin, kompletterat med våra favoritostar och godis. Vi ansåg ingen ånger, eftersom vi hade gått av det i förväg! Ett underbart sätt att tillbringa några timmar på denna vackra plats!

Quentin, our guide, was excellent!!! He was very knowledgeable about Bordeaux history as well as humorous and entertaining. The food and wine provided were classically good. Quentin answered all or our questions and did not make us feel rushed or hurried. I would highly recommend this tour, especially with Quentin.A Troy delightful experience

Our tour guide Crystal was really wonderful. She was able to show us highlights and historical parts of the city. She also shared her passion and knowledge for the culinary offerings of Bordeaux. She was knowledgeable and enthusiastic and was able to answer all of our questions. We ALL recommend this trip and recommned Crystal as a guide.

I think that going to the chocolate shop was my favorite stop, we saw how the candies are made, sampled chocolates from around the world and tried some of the chocolate candies as well. It was fascinating to learn how chocolate candies are made from Cocoa bean to candy. We learned a lot about the history of the city and the changes in the last 20 or 30 years. At the apartment we had a fun lunch of Charcuterie, Quiche Lorraine, a salad, and wine. This is a good way to get acquainted with the area especially if you are staying in the Saint Michel or Chartrons areas. Sorry, I don't have photo's at this time, if I am able to edit this review later I will post some, but I may have only taken them at the chocolate shop...

Very nice tour. The guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Bordeaux and we had a lot of time at each stop. Sampled pastries, cheeses, and had a great tour of a chocolate shop that dates back to the 1800's. The tour ended with lunch at the Viator dining room. It was very nice, plenty of food and wine and samples picked up on the walking tour. It was also nice to have the time to visit more with the other couple on the tour.

This one was great. We got a tour of the city and went to the best bakery where we had coffee and pastries that were delicious. Then we went to the chocolate factory and learned a lot about making chocolate and tasted a lot of them. The last one was the cheese store. We had 3 very good chesses. After all that we went for lunch. We had a very good quiche and lots of wine. We ended up buying some wine to ship home. The whole experience was fantastic.

Our guide was very friendly as well as knowledgeable about his hometown. Of course we saw the important buildings and monuments but our visit to a special bakery where we had their bread and some coffee was a pleasant break in the walk. We also stopped at a cheese shop for a tasting. The highlight was our stop at the chocolate shop where everything was a work of art. Upstairs we saw the professionals at work and tasted different varieties of chocolate. The tour ended with a nice lunch with wine, naturally.

So well organized. Great tour guide. The chocolate factory tour was far better than the one included in our cruise excursion version. More to view, sample, and be told about the whole process not just a visit to a shop for mere purchases. Left wonderful memories.

This was a well spent 4 hours in Bordeaux. The guide was lovely and the pace of the walking tour was good. The stops were well planned and the little chocolate kitchen was especially informative. The lunch back at the office was also good. The dining area is in an apartment building but is the office of a local wine tour group.

One of the best tours we have taken. Small group, friendly, knowledgeable guide who really knew her way around the town and through the backrooms and kitchens of many of the best restaurants in town. A must it really is if you are going to be in Bordeaux!

A great way to walk around Bordeaux and taste some fabulous food. The best being the chocolate shop we visited where chocolates are still made by hand. Got to taste as many as we liked. Then visited the shop to purchase chocolates. Wished we had bought more as the best chocolates I have ever tasted and very reasonably priced. Lunch was also very nice in an apartment in Bordeaux and served with wine. Guide very knowledgeable. Great walking tour all over Bordeaux.
