Carsten, vår guide, är en 25-årig inföding och hade stor kunskap att dela. Han hade ett stort sinne för humor och höll gruppen engagerad. De resa var mer körning än önskade men verkligheten är att om du bor i Cairns måste du köra för att komma till cape tribulations. En god mängd tidsinställda stopp stoppar körningen. Var beredd att simma vid Mossman Gorge eftersom vattnet är uppfriskande. Resan var ett stort äventyr.

Detta är en vacker regnskog. Full av många historier och underbar förare. Har stor kunskap och en varmare humor! Visade oss den stora historien på denna plats och låt oss sluta för att ta bilder på några coola små platser! ! Skåpbilen är extremt bekväm och han håller den precis som du gillar den där (tillfälligt). Kom hungrig! Kaffe och te på morgonen. Vi behövde inte vänta på att lunch skulle vara beredd eftersom vi plockade ut den i förväg och de hade den redo för oss. Hoppa inte över den här. Bara gå, även för glass på kvällen! Du kommer att vara så tacksam!

Our guide was wonderful. He was personable,well informed And made it both fun and interesting. We had a great view o forest, couldn't go to cape due to heavy storms washing out the roads.

Mossmon Gorge was...

Mossmon Gorge was excellent. But hardly had much time. Just an hour to walk, experience the Indegenous performance and the souvenir store . I wish they don’t do the market in the morning. Total waste of time! We could spend that half hour more at mossmon Gorge.

A road trip for who just want to be there

I recently took a tour that, unfortunately, did not meet my expectations, and I feel it necessary to share my experience for future travelers considering this option. The majority of our tour was spent on the road or in restaurants, with many noteworthy sites merely pointed out from a distance or discussed while passing by. This approach provided limited engagement with the locations we visited. Unlike another group from the same company that was given guided exploration opportunities, our group was often left to wander independently. The lack of structured walks and informative accompaniment significantly detracted from the experience, leaving us to figure out things on our own. Most concerning was a dangerous incident involving a boy and his father who nearly drowned while swimming in the Daintree Rainforest's river, an activity that was promoted as safe. Alarmingly, the guide was absent when this critical situation unfolded, raising serious questions about the tour's safety measures and oversight. Given these experiences, I cannot recommend this tour to those seeking a fulfilling, relaxed, and immersive travel experience. The lack of guided exploration, safety concerns, and the overall structure of the tour fell short of providing a memorable and enjoyable journey.

Crocodiles and Gorges

Loved the boat trip on Daintree River when we saw a couple of crocodiles, the walk through the rainforest and swimming at Mossman Gorge. Carsten, our guide, was knowledgeable, informative and great fun.

Awful day

Pick up time advertised as 7.05 - in reality was picked up at 7.35. Drive along the coast was amazing and the tour guide clearly knowledgable. Stopped for a photo and then an hour boat ride. This was followed by 30 minutes in the ‘village’ which basically just comprised of a bar - complete waste of time. Lunch at the aborigine centre was fine but then talk by the elder took far too long. Spent an hour at the waterfall. Given the conditions did not allow for most of the advertised items to take place, other tour groups went to neighbouring beaches - this would have been a far better use of time. Don’t book this tour if you’re expecting to walk through the rainforest as this wasn’t an option. Save your money and time

We spend extra time at Mossman Gorge, where you can swim and we do a guided walk through the Rainforest, so I can't understand why you commented on not spending anytime in the Rainforest. We are sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your day

Cape Tribulation was not accessible do to damaged roads, but the rest of the trip was very good. Our guide (Brett) was native to the area and extremely knowledgeable. He made the entire trip including the rainforest very educational

No Cape Tribulation.

Ok day, but could not get to Cape Tribulation because of Cyclone damage. We were not told before we started. Nice views on the drive. Mossman Gorge was great. Interesting Indigenous Welcome ceremony and talk. Did not do the planned hike because it was so hot. Saw a couple young crocs on the river cruise

Good Trip

The tour is very comprehensive and long. We drove over 200 miles in 12 hours. If driving directly there, the Daintree is a 3 hour drive from Cairns. So be prepared for a long day! It was great seeing the Daintree as well as the river cruise to see the crocodile.

Rain or shine - it was a great trip

The guide can truly make or break an experience and Jim was fantastic! He kept us entertained throughout and really fleshed out a lot of the details to provide history and insight. The itinerary is packed with several sites to visit - some just are a photo-op - mixed with a fair amount of driving… but you should already be aware of this going in. Rainforest, walking the beaches of the Cape, river cruise and some really good food mixed in. Rained three times during the excursion - obviously - so plan accordingly. Can’t recommend enough..
