Var medveten om att vissa medicinska tillstånd (t.ex. astma, hjärtsjukdomar, diabetes) och ALLA receptbelagda mediciner kräver ett brev eller e-postmeddelande från en läkare som tillåter dig att dyka. Detta tillstånd måste innehålla ditt fullständiga namn, läkarens namn och praktik och tillstånd att dyka för de specifika medicinerna/tillståndet. Bevis på dykkvalifikation (certifieringskort) krävs från alla dykare som vill delta i ett certifierat dyk.
Barn i åldern och under 12 år (introduktion) och 10 år (certifierade dykare) är inte tillåtna att delta i dykaktiviteter ombord enligt australiensisk lag i Queensland.
Barn under 18 år måste vara i omedelbar sällskap med en förälder eller vårdnadshavare.
Dykning inom 24 timmar före ditt flyg är inte tillåtet.

As they said in their talks it’s not the ok barrier reef it’s the Great Barrier Reef and it really was since arriving in cairns the weather has been awful and I was pleased we got to experience some of what we wanted. The staff on board were absolutely incredible and I can not thank them enough for making the experience what it was. My son a natural water baby was right at home and got to live the dream and dive and snorkel the Great Barrier Reef. I found it harder but the staff were incredible giving me advice hints and tips to try and ensure I felt at ease and got the best out of my experience. Thank you. Due to the bad weather communication with Viator to arrange a refund as there was no helicopter ride was quite simple and sorted well. 100% recommend just hope you have better weather.

Very professional operation. Great boat, attentive staff. The weather was not great - choppy seas - lots of sea sick passengers. The staff was great though in managing. We did make it out to the reef and had a decent time in the water. The current was strong and it was a bit cloudy. Saw the resident sea turtle, which was a treat. The helicopter was cancelled due to weather, but refund through Viator was prompt. Would go again in better weather.

Went out for an introductory dive and helicopter tour but the weather prevented us from going in the helicopter. The crew on board was great, very friendly and organized and the scuba dive was incredible as well as a couple hours of snorkeling. The helicopter being cancelled was a major bummer especially when hearing the same helicopter outfit had cancelled most of their flights over the past month. Time to find a new service so it doesn’t reflect poorly on this crew. So what we experienced was great but what we didn’t experience was disappointing.

This was an AMAZING tour! I can't say enough good things about it! Unfortunately, my experience we viator to book this tour leaves me a bit frustrated. I wanted to go scuba diving and after several emails and phone calls with viator they still booked my friend and I for the wrong activities. I was really disappointed but I appreciate that down under was able to accommodate me to go snorkeling instead.

The crew were top notch all of them! Very accommodating and professional. Took one star off because we could not do the helicopter portion due to some weather in the area. Weather seemed to clear but it was still a no go. Weather is not their fault but we did not get the full experience. The reef snorkeling was excellent!!

It was an awesome experience. The Greta Barrier Reef in itself is fascinating, which was nicely accentuated by the professional, warm and fun attitude of the staff members. Food served on board was great too, ample variety and cooked to perfection!

We really enjoyed this tour. Our group was the only boat at the two distinct reef stops. We saw a lot of sea creatures. The equipment provided was of really good quality - the stinger suits (like a light version of a wet suit) provided excellent sun protection. Reef safe sunscreen was even provided. As a traveller you did not need to bring ANY equipment to enjoy yourself. The tour operator thought of everything. The number of people on the t tour was a bit larger than we expected but it wasn’t an issue.

This was a peak experience. The crew delivered a well organized and safe outing. We saw all kinds of colorful fish and coral and never felt crowded despite the large group of passengers. The helicopter ride over the reef is something I will never forget. I highly recommend the add on, it was worth the extra money.

The snorkling experience and helicopter ride is so amazing! And the crew were all very welcoming and humorous, kept everyone very entertained. The only downside maybe is the lunch? Careful- Viator try not to reimburse cancelled helicopterride

Do NOT book a helicopter ride with Viator - as they often get cancelled and they try not to reimburse you! We had to make 2 bookings for 2 persons each as 2 wanted introduction dive and 2 not. The reimbursement of the cancelled helicopterride we were informed was only for 1 out of our family of 4!! Despite the cruisemember told us that of course everyone who had booked and paid for the helicopterride would be fully reimbursed as the cancellation happens very frequently due to weather condition. Still waiting to receive the reimbursement - and really not easy to get in contact with Viator customer “service”.

The cruise was great. The reefs were beautiful. The only thing I would change is allowing people on the helicopter rides more time at the 2nd Reef. I didn't get much snorkel time because I was called for my helicopter ride out of the water. I was disappointed in my limited time there. Otherwise, the cruise and staff were fantastic and the reefs you visit are absolutely gorgeous! There is an underwater photographer that takes pictures of you. Make sure you find her. You will have to pay for the pictures you want sent to you.

The crew were all very nice and professional. The boat is comfortable. The scuba orientation was clear and exhaustive I was really bummed that the helicopter part got canceled, and it wasn’t even due to weather, it was due to malfunction. I understand unforeseen things happen but why would you not inspect the helicopter until the actual time or the flight? They did suggest I reach out to Viator for partial refund but the process was a hassle
