Hoppa över kön var värt det! Vi kunde turnera museet själva med våra guideböcker istället för att känna oss fastnade med en reseguide. Vi var lite tidiga så vi fick vänta lite i kö men inte länge.

Det tog som en timme att hitta platsen där jag kunde ha stannat på nätet för att köpa min egen biljett! Avgiften var för mycket $ 33 / person , var 13 vid dörren ! Vad killen gjorde var att ge oss biljetterna och sa åt oss att hitta den röda linjen! Det var ett väldigt litet museum! Se upp att de debiterade alldeles för mycket!

Hello. We are sorry that you could not find our agency. We are located just down the street from the Accademia Gallery entrance (just 49 meters, approx. 160 feet away), past the crowds and confusion outside the museum. Our address is on the voucher and it is easy to locate if you look for our street number, also with Googlemaps. The directions are also under "additional info" in our product description online: "Exchange your voucher for the ticket at The Florence Specialist office in via Ricasoli 119r (RED Numbers), next to Carrefour Supermarket." Our clients appreciate the convenient location that is close to the gallery, but far from the crowds and confusion. It is enough to read our other reviews. We include the ebook (pdf guide to the museum) along with free wi-fi connection, and offer a place to leave luggage if necessary. The increase in price includes the reservation fee, which is not included in the 13 euro entrance fee. Those who want to pay just 13 euro have to line up at the Gallery and wait in a long line that usually includes a waiting time over 90 minutes. We offer Priority Entrance tickets that allow access to the Gallery at the Red Point with a timed entrance. The increase in price also includes taxes that we pay to the Italian State and commission for online sale through Viator that handles easy credit card payment so you can make an advance booking to avoid the long wait. Yes, the Accademia Gallery is a small museum if compared to others, but it houses the original David by Michelangelo, along with other statues left unfinished by Michelangelo (still bearing his chisel marks), a collection of paintings spanning from the 12th to 17th centuries exhibited on two floors. There is also the Musical Instruments department housing, among many other instruments, 3 original Stradivarius instruments owned by the Medici family and some of the earliest pianos ever made, created by the inventor of the piano himself, Bartolomeo Cristofori. Visitors can learn about the collection with the pdf ebook guide that we provide (written by one of our expert, local guides) so they can navigate their way through the collection. We are sorry that the experience did not live up to your expectations. We offer this service so visitors to Florence don't miss out on the possibility of seeing the David (which is definitely a must-see when in town) while avoiding the long wait with Priority Entrance!

Riktigt hjälpsam och vänlig personal vid biljetthämtningen som var lätt att hitta och precis nära museet - personalen tog oss över till akademin och vi gick direkt in, mycket hjälpsamma när min man förlorade sin biljett också! Tyvärr var personalen på Academia oförskämd och ohjälpsam

E-boken var informativ, men vi hade tyvärr ingen aning om vart vi skulle ta vägen. Ingen träffade oss - alla instruktioner sa var "2:00 pm" för vart vi skulle gå. Det fanns ett skyltfönster men det var långt från ingången. Vi visste bara om det för att en anställd på galleriet hjälpte oss. Det var frustrerande.

Thank you for your feedback. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the ebook; it was written by one of our tour guides. All of the information to redeem your ticket with your Viator voucher is written on the activity description online and the voucher you are sent upon booking. Our agency office "storefront" is located just down the street from the museum entrance - to write that it is "far" from the entrance seems to be a bit of an exaggeration. Unlike other tour companies, who have people who are hard to find in the crowds outside the museum entrance holding up small signs, we have an office that is easy to find. Here, our clients can connect to wi-fi, use our facilities, and even deposit backpacks and luggage. Upon booking we advise reading all the details of the activity description online and printed on the voucher that is sent via email. These have all the instructions and the address of our agency. Sorry you did not do this, this would have saved much frustration. Hopefully, once inside the Accademia you enjoyed seeing the marvelous David.

The David is a treasure and it is not to be missed when visiting Florence, so we want to provide excellent service to all our clients. We want to ensure a smooth and easy way to enter the Accademia Gallery. It is stated on our product description online and on the voucher sent upon booking confirmation under the "Before you go" heading in bold, that you must "Exchange your voucher for the (paper Accademia Gallery) ticket at The Florence Specialist office" . Our office is conveniently located just a few doors down from the Gallery entrance. The "mobile ticket" is your digital ticket that one needs to show (even just on a cell phone, no print-out is required) to exchange it for a paper ticket at the office. The Accademia Gallery, an amazing Gallery that houses the David since 1873, requires a paper ticket for entry (it is not equipped for entry with digital tickets). Unlike other ticket providers, who have people on the street with a sign that are hard to find in the large crowd outside the Gallery, we provide an office that is easy to find, where travelers can redeem their tickets, connect to our wifi, download a guide to the Gallery (digital ebook), and use the facilities.
