Fantastic way to see Hobart

Great way to see Hobart. Drivers and all staff pleasant and friendly and very helpful. This is the second time I’ve seen Hobart this way in 12 months. Would happily do it again, next time.

Seeing the sometimes complex integration of heritage and modern architecture was a breath of fresh air compared with some mainland cities. Also the the commentary on the bus was very informative and the insertion of updates by our driver was very thoughtful.

Worth the trip

Great commentary along the way. We got off at the Botanical Gardens and it was so lovely, we spent most of our day there. Well worth seeing, especially on such a beautiful sunny day 😎. The bus was a bit chilly on the upper deck.

Buses not keeping to timetable

It was a fairly good experience however we were wanting to get off the bus at the penitentiary. We were upstairs and 3 of us pressed the button to stop and the bus kept going. When we were finally able to get drivers attention he said “someone mentioned this morning that it wasn’t working “. We were late for our tour.

Enjoyed riding the loop and seeing Hobart. Due to Fall weather the upper deck was a bit cool. Remember caps and layers. Some of the audio info was out of date, but driver provided correct information.

48hr pass is worth it

Bought the 48hr pass & toured Hobart for 2 days stress free. Truly a clever way to see the points of interest in Hobart. The recorded commentaries a bonus.

Port Arthur has to be the most memorable, but Richmond Bridge, Tasman’s Arch and the Remarkable Cave were great add ons. The day made better by the educational presentation by “Phil” throughout the day.

Red and Blue route

We used the Hop on Hop off 2 day pass. It allowed us to see the city as well as get some history about the Sydney as well. We rode both the red and the blue routes. They came pretty regularly. We did not have to wait but about 15 min.

A very enjoyable trip around Hobart. Very easy to use this facility. We thought the map could have given a little more information about the places to stop. We thought there was some sort of sculpture trail somewhere on the route but we didn't see anything mentioned anywhere on the paperwork.
