I was bummed that the woman didn't have a sign held up for us so my husband on our honeymoon was not caught off guard and surprised. She was there for multiple couples and set our sign down and was talking to the first couple who got the experience they paid for. Bummer way to start my honeymoon when I wanted to make my husband feel special. I had to hunt her down and say, "Hi, we are the people on the sign laying down over there :("

Dan was very polite & gave great advice on things to see & do while on Kauai. He texted a few times to make sure flight was coming in at a certain time, baggage claim area & that everything proceeded correctly. I appreciated his communication & caring.

Our greeter was VERY helpful. I got a text from him once we landed to make sure which baggage claim we were at. Once he greeted us, he took a picture from our phone and then his. He sent us the picture along with some recommendations for sited on the island

We arrived and nobody was at the airport to meet us. I received no text and no way to contact except to send an email that I located from the website. I emailed to request a refund in my disappointment. We got our rental car and drove away. After leaving we got a call from a frantic woman who told us we must of arrived early. She explained that a refund was not possible and we needed to turn around and come back to the airport. We did and the flowers were beautiful but we were yelled at by airport staff for being where she told us to park and then she was frantically rushed off to the next group. The greeter did not take any ownership of the late arrival and it was very disappointing. I’m sure if she had arrived on time it would have been a beautiful experience. .

Aloha Lori. Thank you for ordering a lei greeting. We do own it and take full responsibility. Reach out to costumer service and you will of course get a refund. We always send a text and establish contact before our visitors arrive. It was a human error that you did not receive that initial text upon arrival. We apologize for that. We use flighttracker to track arrival time. 99% of the time, they are 99% precise. In this specific case, the flight tracker was not updated and did not show your flight arrival 20 minutes ahead of scheduled time. It was out of our hands and we apologize for that. We always strive to give our visitors the best service. This day almost everything that could go wrong, went wrong. Even airport security, they just work hard and have rules and regulations they have to follow. We apologize for that. Both me and Emilia were off Island. Kauai is amazing. We hope you have a wonderful vacation and will return. When you do, we will be happy to give you a complimentary lei greeting. Much love and Aloha, Dan and Emilia.

Dan was wonderful! Our plane was delayed 3.5 hours and he was there to greet us and make us gell welcome. He took our picture and shared tips about things to see. He then send a very nice text with some more tips about the area and what to see. Great experience! Beautiful lei!

So we paid $100.00 for 2 lei greeting at airport. Went to Costco right after and they had 2 leis for $14.99. over price

An airport flower lei greeting immediately upon arrival on Kauai is so much more than a lei. Your lei greeter drives to the airport just to welcome you! The greeter is waiting for your flight no matter how late it is and how long time it takes you to exit the aircraft and get to your baggage claim. Often 2 hours are spend on a lei greeting. The greeter makes you a beautiful personal sign. The greeter will offer you the best island tips, take your family photo, and offer to help you during your stay should you have any questions about Kauai. What you are paying for is not a lei. It is a wonderful service offered to make your arrival special and memorable and make you feel welcome. A friendly meeting and sharing of aloha. We are sorry you misunderstood the intention of a lei greeting. If you were just interested in a lei we would have recommend going to a supermarket and buy it yourself. You can not compare a traditional airport lei greeting and buying a lei at a supermarket.

Our lei greeting was a great welcome to the Garden Island. Our greeter was very nice and welcoming. The orchid flowers in the leis were beautiful and bright. I highly recommend the Kauai Airport Lei Greeting.
