Great adventure experience and guide

Our guide Sierra was great, fun, knowledgable and caring. Kayaking the Wailua river is always enjoyable. The pace was great and overall a wonderful experience.

Highly recommend this adventure! Our guide, Sierra was fantastic, and provided lots of information about the flora and fauna and stories along the way. The kayak was a beautiful glide up to the trailhead. The hike was not strenuous but you definitely need good shoes for the water crossings and slippery rocks! The state has even added several boardwalks along the way to keep you above the mud While the falls may be called secret, it was quite busy along the trail and at the falls so don’t expect any quiet peaceful moments! Mahalo Sierra!

Such a great bonding experience for our family of four. Our youngest is 7 and he absolutely loved the hiking, kayaking and swimming near the falls. Both of my kids were able to keep up pace with the other adults in our group. Our guide, Sierra, was incredible! She was funny, patient, kind, full of all kinds of great information, and gave us some recommendations for food all over Kauai!

Amazing experience! Fun paddle, nice hike, good lunch and beautiful waterfall! Our guide was super knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend wearing keens, Texas ir sandals that can be submerged in water and are comfortable for light hiking. Highly recommend this excursion!

I really thought this would be more enjoyable than it was. Unfortunately our tour guide barely gave instructions on good techniques on how to kayak effectively and was no where to be seen most of time when rowing. He wasn’t checking on anyones wellbeing at all. The kayak part was very long and doing this back and forth after the hike was exhausting and stressful. To top it off they expected us to help them pick up all the kayaks and equipment and stack them onto the trailer before we all left. I felt that it’s not our job after paying so much for a tour to have to pick up twelve kayaks and all the equipment to stack before we leave.. That left a bad taste in my mouth. C it was kinda putting everyone in an uncomfortable position to have to work after arriving back. We are paying guests. They need to figure that part out. The sandwiches were also kinda gross with no flavor. It was more a “follow me” type experience. For the price I would not recommend

This was an awesome experience. Helm was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The kayak and hike can be a little strenuous if you are out of shape, but is well worth it. The waterfall was amazing.

The excursion was a lot of fun; mixing kayaking with hiking, stream crossing then a swim and lunch at the base of the waterfalls. Everything was well organized and our guide (Thomas) was very friendly, knowledgeable and willing to spend time answering our numerous questions about the history of the river and area.
