Our driver was waiting for us in the arrivals terminal with our name. That was the best part, didn't have to call or otherwise wonder how to get hold of him when we arrived.

Our Krakow airport Viator driver didn't show up .After 30 minutes waiting,no answer via phone,another taxi firm driver rang someone.... A Viator driver? In 10 minutes a driver arrived and took us to our hotel.I had recieved a message fron Viator prior to travelling confirming the departure pick up 3 days later and tried to get a response by messaging back a few times to no avail.I was just wanting absolute certainty a driver would show up this time! We were prepared to ring another firm for this departure transfer but Viator driver showed up....early! Fantastic ride to the airport which almost made up for the no show arrival one 3 days before!

Booked Private Transfer via TripAdvisor/Viator. Our arrival time was approx. 1 hr later than expected. Our driver was waiting for us with a name plaque. Vehicle appeared clean and comfortable. Only negative, driver was understandably keen to get on journey, I never got chance to fasten seat belt before he left airport and I discovered it was dysfunctional. From my booking I anticipated it was one way journey ticket. However, was very confused when I received numerous texts from different mobile numbers asking what time I wanted collected from my hotel to transfer to airport. And several missed telephone calls. One in fact when we were in airport waiting on our return flight! Confused!

Our taxi didn't turn up, no notification and I couldn't get Gr8way on the phone as line constantly busy. Refund requested through Viator and return taxi cancelled. I won't use them again and wouldnt recommend them. Good news is I found out taxi charge from airport to Krakow Centre is set at 129 zloty (£25) and with lots of taxis waiting no need to pre-book.

Taxi was "delayed" by over 45 minutes, company claimed it was due to weather, but roads were clear and no delays getting from airport to city centre

I would hardly call it memorable! Transfer back to the airport failed to turn up. Claimed they couldn't contact me to arrange a pick up time which had been supplied previously to Tripadvisor/Viatour at the time of booking and confirmed the day before with the driver who had picked us up from the airport via the office. Once I was eventualy able to get through to the office after several atempts - their automated answer service was on an interminable loop - a most unhelpful lady Domenicka did nothing to help and seemed to care not a joy other than to shift blame for the problem to me. Alleged several attempts were made via whatsapp - no whatsapp messages received from them - and one via Tripadvisor which I can confirm was received the afternoon the day we were leaving. Unfortunately TripAdvisor is not an app I use for messaging, I only discovered it as a result of going into TA to get contact details for the company. Regardless, they were provided the details up front, the pick up time/address were then confirmed the day before with our initial driver so I had no reason to believe there was a problem. The least I expected was to be advised a car could be despatched immediately and an estimated arrival time. It took me 30 minutes of toing and froing with Domenicka before telling her if she couldn't help just to forget it. Time was of the essence and she was simply wasting it, we eventually made our own way there but it was a stressful end to our trip. Followed this up immediately with TA via phone, their operator had same problem contacting operator re interminable loop problem! I was then advised they had to wait for operators side of events re any refund of unused transfer. Not sure why this should be the case when my booking was with TA/Viatour who had the full pick up details. Either way if you think your booking transfers via a reputable company such as TA/Viatour be aware they use 3rd parties and don't appear to accept responsibility when that company fails to meet either mine or I'd hope theirs. Avoid this company at all costs.
