Inne på Kungliga slottet var en bra rundtur. Stadsdelen av turnén var dock helt enkelt frånvarande alls. I grund och botten är denna turné ett officiellt sätt att sälja du hoppar över köbiljetterna för ett tredubblat pris.

As published, on the way to the Royal Palace, we also provided you with a half an hour guided walking tour through the heart of Madrid and Austrias Neighbourhood, and furthermore, you had a semiprivate guided tour inside the Royal Palace, that was happily valued by you as being a good tour. Fantastisk personlig upplevelse att se det kungliga palatset. Palatset hade varit stängt i flera dagar tidigare så det var extremt hektiskt dagen vi besökte. Vi uppskattade att vara i en mindre grupp eftersom vi lättare kunde navigera genom de trånga rummen. Missa inte att gå genom Armory, en imponerande samling av riddarrustningar!

Not a good tour

“Skip the Line” was not. Waited in line 30 minutes to go in. Tour guide’s English was difficult to understand. Tour guide was smirky, and condescending to women. The Palace was lovely, but much too crowded.

Would Have Preferred Smaller Group

Our guide was very informative, provided great insights to various rooms and buildings. My only complaint is the size of the group was much too large -- around 30 guests -- to manage well and have a collaborative engagement with the guide. And because the group was large and this is an extremely popular place, people in the group would occasionally wander.

Enjoyable

Enjoyed our walk through the plaza and Palace. Pilar provided many interesting facts and got us interested in Spanish history to go back to hotel and researched further. The headphones crackled at a few points, possibly when we were near other guides but since we were a small group Pilar was able to talk to us without the headset and we could hear her fine.

Good tour, but didn't get what ws paid for

Paid a premium for small group skip-the-line, and art was neither. In fact, had to waiting in line over 40 minutes, causing us to have to leave the tour early to get to another engagement.

Skip the line is the way to go. Our tour guide was very informative. After touring the inside of the palace be sure and visit the armory, it is included in the tour. You can see all the horse armor ready battle and parades.

Beautiful places to see, not a skip the line tour

Our tour guide was very good. He was very knowledgeable. However, this was suppose to be a skip the line tour and we waited in line for an hour to get in. Very disappointed to have to wait in a crowd standing that long.

Bad experience!!

Well we were to have a small group tour of less than 12 and we had 22. We had skip the line and waited 45 minutes in line for the entry. We arrived 45 minutes early and weren’t told about the group size or offered to change our tickets. When I complainer, they wanted to tell me the Palace changed the rules TODAY!! Do they think I am stupid…. At the palace there were private tours, tours with 4 people, etc! DON’T USE THIS COMPANY!! Lies

We paid for a small group, 11 or less people. . We were in a group of 23. The tour group leader said the company does this often. Viator offered no refund or partial refund. They ignore the actual facts and rely on the tour operators response. I actually have pictures of the 21 people on the tour with us two, but somehow according to the local tour operator I was in a small group. Beware.

Palace Visit

Palace visit was great and our guide was very sweet. Check in at the tour location was somewhat chaotic and desk attendant was very rude to others. The tour starts off with a walking tour of other palaces and monuments and you really do skip the line. There is a side entrance for groups. The individual entrance looked like Disneyland. For that alone, I would go in with a group. Palace was beautiful. Would recommend it as a stop during your time in Madrid.
