    Interesting afternoon

    Something we haven’t experienced in Maui before. It was an interesting history of growing Cacao beans and making chocolate. We did a tasting of 9 different varieties made right there. You could also do pairings with wine or spirits.

    This was by far our favorite experience on Maui! We just wished we had done the farm tour as well. We will definitely do that next time. I will recommend this to anyone going to Maui. We loved the educational aspect and the divine chocolate samples we got to try. Can't say enough good things about this experience. Will remember it for years to come! We are now Ku'ia chocolate lovers and won't buy anything else.

    The chocolate is fantastic and the tour guide is so knowledgeable about the sources and processes of chocolate making it very interesting. His passion for growing cocoa and creating unique chocolate made the experience so enjoyable.

    Learning the process of chocolate making and tasting. I bought my granddaughter to try the different flavors some she liked not fond of fruit flavors I liked them so I ate hers.

    Didn't quite understand what was happening at first because I thought we were booked on the farm tour (travel agent booked for us). Once we were settled in and the presentation started, I was impressed. The owner knows and imparted so much information. Very interesting and the flavors were nuanced and delightful. Well worth the time away from the beach :-)

    Loved the chocolates! We even got an extra chocolate to taste in the flavors 😋. The views were nice as you get the background for the chocolate you taste and learn about the process.

    Very informative and interactive. The chocolate was delicious and the staff was very friendly and tentative. The chocolate making process and all the hard work put into it, is quite amazing.

    What a delicious and educational chocolate experience! We had so much fun learning about the origin of chocolate as we listened to how the owner/local farmer makes his chocolates - from flower to the consumer. We tasted delicious varieties of mostly dark chocolate with light local floral and fruit notes as well as some beautiful essential oil varieties. Additional drinks and treats are available for purchase. Note: If there are several in your party, maybe section the chocolate into halves or quarters before opening it so everyone can get a taste and save the rest of the samples for later! We even got to try the limited edition cocoa sorbet - which is a flavor of its very own. We recommend this 1.25 hour chocolate tasting.

    Absolutely delicious award winning chocolate of various flavors. Net profit goes to charity. Indigenous tribes are given the opportunity to make money producing the beans locally.
