Fantastic experience from beginning to end. The puzzles were great, both challenging and entertaining. The food was fantastic. Our tour started at noon and we ate so much we skipped dinner that night. All four of us agreed this was a great way to see Lahaina, learn a bit of history, and spend a great afternoon.

This was a fantastic tour!! I have been to Maui several times & I found new places, with delicious food I wasn't even aware of. The portions are full-size, so don't eat before you go. All of the tour stops were friendly and prepared to serve us and the tour operator checked in with us to see how things were going during the trip. I will be recommending this to all of my friends and family planning on visiting Maui!

My husband and I had a blast on our tour in Lahaina. The puzzles were easy to access and were fun to solve. The food at each stop was delicious and plentiful…we couldn’t eat another bite by the end of the tour. I highly recommend this tour as a fun and unique way to explore and learn about Lahaina.

Family friendly food, fun & puzzling times

This was a fun and unique way to tour and eat our way thru Lahaina. Some tips, this is totally family friendly if you have kids who like puzzles and food. We had 5 in our group and bought 2 “couples” tickets. Our 8 year old just shared our food or we purchased something separately for her at the different stops. Took us about 4 hours total as we took our time. All the food was excellent and they were able to accommodate dietary restrictions. I highly recommend, of all the tours we did, including snorkeling and zip lining, this tour made the top of the list.

Easy and fun way to explore Front Street

I booked this for me and my family of 4, two adults, my teen son, and my young adult daughter during our vacation to Maui. I thought it would be nice to do instead of wandering aimlessly around Front street in Lahaina. We window shopped and at the same time, we had a mission to solve the puzzles and be rewarded with food. Puzzles were easy because hints are given and if you really can’t figure it out or don’t want to think too hard, the answers are also given. SPOILER ALERT: The food stops in order are an icy cold pineapple juice, one street taco, salads at Tommy Bahamas sit down restaurant, coffee drink, and end with a smiley face ice cream and a cookie. Communication was easy. The only question I asked was if we can window shop and they answered within 5 minutes. Some other reviewers said it took the 3 hours to complete but we really took our time to enjoy the enjoy the experience. It took us 5 hours to complete lol. It’s probably my son’s favorite activity during our Maui vacation because he couldn’t say enough good things about the experience. And my daughter would jokingly say it’s like getting free food lol.

Found the puzzles a little challenging, but loved the overall experience. Got to see new spots and the food was excellent. Fun way to spend the day in Lahaina. Definitely need three + hours for a relaxed experience so recommend an earlier start.

This was a very fun and enjoyable experience. The puzzles were fun the food drinks were great. We experienced things we normally wouldn’t think of. And when we got to each stop every time they were happy to see us and accommodate.

A fun activity! Well organized start to finish. Even though it was self-guided, the tour operator was in frequent contact to make sure that things were going smoothly. Our group found the puzzle challenging—it took us a solid three hours to complete, so allow enough time to fully enjoy doing it and not feel rushed. The food was delicious and plentiful. This tour was awesome — we highly recommend it!

All I can say is WOW!! This far exceeded our expectations! What a cool way to try different local food and explore Front Street!! The puzzles were challenging but great! The storyline was easy to follow and a fun touch. We tried foods that we never would have done on our own and would do it again!! Make sure you come with an appetite and don’t make supper plans after! The host was super organized, easy to communicate with and very passionate which made it that much better!

It's a fun tour, intellectually challenging and delves into some bits of Maui history. It allowed us to sample some of the local stores and restaurants that we may not have got to otherwise. Lots of food! You will not starve!

Enjoyed solving the first three clues, but between the heat, the crowds and lack of addresses on buildings the walk became frustrating and detracted from the fun. An earlier start might have made a difference. Wish we had been able to finish.

Cant recommend this food tour enough! It was super fun to solve the puzzles and it was a great way to try the local cuisine. Honestly we were both so stuffed by the end! There’s a lot of food and a great way to also explore front street. The company was very easy to work with as well and very communicative. Would do this again in a heartbeat

Solving the puzzles; however some were more challenging than others. Less challenging puzzles would have been less stressful, but we thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. I would like to suggest during signing up on line to provide space for dietary allergiy options.

This was a great excursion. It was a lot of fun and took us to places we probably wouldn't have chosen ourselves. Also took us through the entire town which we also wouldn't have probably done. We ended up going back to the town it was in 3 times. So good for business as well.
