Beware of this business and the “all-terrain” bikes

There are thorny branches all around the bike path they recommend (which we took). It was very windy and as careful as we were to avoid these branches and thorns while riding, two of our “all-terrrain” bikes got flat tires. This was unavoidable and now they are charging my credit card for $120. They claim it was because I kept riding after they were flat but I had no idea until we returned when my friend’s tire was flat. Very rinky-dink operation and the owner/manager just flat out lies. He says he will cut and paste his response to my text on this review. Wonder if I’ll be able to add his lies.

On the contrary, the other lady and gentleman admitted going off trail. We told you to stay on the pavement. And ALL TERRAIN doesn’t mean you can run over anything with impunity. Thorns, nails, bombs, aka hazardous common sense items will obviously cause damage. That’s not the problem though. You rode the bike up the hill flat and that’s what ruined our tube and tire liner ($15 and $86 dollars respectively). We don’t charge anyone for getting flats because we can just patch the tube. It should also be common sense that if you damage our bikes, you pay for repairs. One of the reasons you sign a liability waiver, to ACCEPT liability and owness for damages to yourself and our property. I did check the tire pressures, that’s one of the many reasons I don’t let anyone leave without doing a test lap without me observing. I won’t authorize a refund from TripAdvisor and feel free to leave me bad reviews. I will respond by copying and pasting our exact messages so other people understand our policies. By the way, you had 4 flat tires. I generously only charged you for the tube, liner, and labor on one rear tire of the bike that you rode up the hill flat.

Seeing turtles in the ocean as we biked next to the ocean! We got a flat tire and we were delivered a replacement bike so that we could finish our ride back to Kaanapali. Mahalo!

Great driving along the coast and visiting town. visited Banyon tree park. Shaved dice and some whip at the corner store. Perfect weather. Owner at bike store was friendly and knowledgeable! Great personality!

Would highly recommend! The owner took the time to show us how to ride them and make sure everyone was comfortable in the bikes before heading out. Even gave us suggestions of where to go. Everyone had a lot of fun.
