Folkmassorna och trafiken var utom kontroll! Alldeles för upptagen och lunchplatsen var The Grill Inn var en buffé och reseledaren fick rabatt eller sparka tillbaka! 8 timmar var lång tid att vara på en buss!

Bra reseledare, som var punktlig och supertrevlig och hjälpsam. Bra resplan - skulle definitivt rekommendera för alla som vill se runt i staden och gå till de stora platserna.

Vår guide talade grundläggande engelska, men ibland tror jag inte att hon riktigt förstod våra frågor. Hon gav väldigt lite information om webbplatserna eller till och med instruktioner om vart vi skulle gå/vad vi gjorde och verkade bara allmänt ointresserad hela tiden. Vi hade bara 25 minuter på Kristus Återlösaren för att kämpa oss igenom folkmassorna uppför trappan, ta våra bilder, njuta av utsikten och trycka oss neråt igen och kände oss rusade hela tiden. Vi trodde att hon skulle lämna oss vid Sockertoppen, eftersom hon hela tiden nämnde att vi kunde stanna längre och ta oss tillbaka, och fortsatte att försvinna och komma närmare utgången. Hon sa knappt hejdå när hon lämnade skåpbilen på slutet. Allt som allt en mycket nedslående och besvärlig upplevelse med guiden.
Vi fick dock se alla de stora platserna i Rio på en dag, vilket var ett plus. Lunchbuffén var mycket bättre än vi förväntat oss. Och hämtning/lämning var i tid på vårt vandrarhem och mycket uppskattat. Skåpbilen var mycket rymlig och bekväm. Kan vara en fantastisk upplevelse med en annan guide.

The tour did well at getting us to the major attractions as promised. It did start a little late so Christ the Redeemer was very crowded by the time we arrived. Our guide was friendly but said his English was poor. He gave us information as to where and when we were to meet, but few facts of local color or history. He spoke Spanish and Portuguese throughout the tour so others may have enjoyed this additional information. We were satisfied with where we went but would have liked to know more.

The tour was basically as described - we stopped at every place mentioned. However it did not live up to the "no queue guarantee" and we had to wait for the guide to buy tickets and then line up in several places. We received some information about the city but the guide was just reading it out and we could have just used Wikipedia for such impersonal info. The guide seemed bored by having to give us info. The lunch was at the very end of the day (4:30pm) and we were starving by then. The guide really hyped up the lunch, however it was at a terrible cheap buffet and we were honestly too worried about food poisoning to eat more than a few bites.

The tour was great with all the sites to see as per the itinerary though the guide was not good. He was unclear in the timings and had 4-5 languages to deal with in the same group which did not allow us to understand the history and information on the sites.
