Fantastic tour guide for overview of Santorini

Our guide Yodta & driver were outstanding . Very informative and we got to see a lot of the island. Oia to a small village to the highest point , Monastery views .. capped off with enjoyable wine tasting …….vert attentive since small group of 5…..highly recommend!

We had a great afternoon doing this tour. Our guide Will, was kind and very knowledgeable about the island and made you feel really comfortable to ask any questions. The time at Oia was great as was the wine tasting. Sunset was stunning.

Everything! Harry, the tour operator was fabulous! He was knowledgeable and very funny! Taki, the bus driver was excellent and he even took us back to our hotel after the tour was over! The winery was beautiful and great group of people! My husband and I had the best time! We love that we got to see parts of Santorini we would have missed!

Excellent and informative tour; not to mention loads of fun. Our tour guide Harry was great; a really good balance between educational and fun. He, and our excellent driver - whose name escapes me - knew the best times to see the sights without the places getting overcrowded and were most accomodating to a bunch of tourists just out for a good time. A great experience and highly recommended. In fact, we already have doe just that to some people we met here today...😉

Failed to deliver

The guide was amazing - no issues. We started in Oia not that busy this time of year there were about 10 people queuing for a photo of the blue domes but we were rushed away as no time. We were rushed out of Oia straight to a wine tasting that took ages - was really boring and we sat round for an hour to taste the smallest amount of wine (this was the 5th stop on itinerary given but was actually the 2nd). As this took so long everything else was rushed - we were told we were going to megalochlori on the itinerary but we didn’t go there and no explanation / apologies but assume as we ran out of time. Personally I would have done some of the main stops whilst still light and warm rather than sitting for an hour in a winery which was super dull (and could have been done at twilight). We had zero time to explore the other towns as promised and the whole tour was really bad value for money.

Vasilios (Will) was not only an amazingly well informed tour guide, but his fun spirit and charisma made this tour seem like we were exploring the island with friends instead of a group of strangers. My only wish is that it would have lasted longer! The sites were amazing, the information captivating, and wine excellent! Will showed us hidden gems of the island to take breath taking photos! Would definitely recommend!

The best tour I ever had. Our guide, Will was excellent. He was able to sustain his energy despite the crowded places we visited. He was also wise in making sure we avoid the busy streets. As a solo traveler, I would highly recommend this tour.

Best way to see Santorini

This was the perfect way to see the island, learn about Santorini, try some local wine, and see a beautiful sunset! The streets are narrow here and we never would have seen all these sights on our own. Harry was an excellent and knowledgeable tour guide with an infectious passion for Santorini history!

We booked the Santorini Highlights with Wine tasting tour which we planned to do while on a cruise. They were extremely responsive with emails and provided a great introduction to Santorini. We had 1 hour and forty-five minutes from the time NCL Breakaway was cleared to let passengers off in Santorini to make our tour. After getting tickets for #9 tender to Santorini and seeing a horrific line for the cable car, we knew it would be cutting it very close to make our tour. We decided to take the donkey ride (15 minutes) rather than more than an hour wait for the cable car. We both thoroughly enjoyed the donkey ride although we had not planned on it. Then we walked to the bus terminal (very short distance) from the donkey drop off, however we had missed the tour by 5 minutes. This wonderful tour company had attempted to call us however we did not have wifi. Finally we were able to contact the company and they were so awesome (sending another driver to bring us to meet the rest of the group). We enjoyed Megalochori, a stop for “gyros,” Oia and the wine tasting at Artemis Karamolegos. Harry was a wonderful guide and our van driver was amazing too (sorry I forgot his name). The culmination was getting beautiful views of the sunset and being served champagne. This made our day so special. We highly recommend this tour.

What a wonderful ride through Santorini with the small group that wasn’t 10 but really six! . The knowledgeable tour guide knew all about the history and background of the island. I definitely would return to Santorini book through Viator!

Best tour of the island with only 3 more couples with us that made it more enjoyable than a big group. Basilis(Will) was an excellent tour guide, very fun and friendly. Tour ended with a wine tasting that was fenomenal. Best wine I ever tasted♥️
