Perfect Santorini day

This tour was such a perfect way to spend a day in Santorini. Gregory took us to so many places and knew so much about the history, geology, culture, and architecture of the island. Whether you have limited time in Santorini or are there for longer, you should definitely do this tour. The tour operators are a small family business and you can tell they really care about the experience of all the people in the tour and they select memorable and fun activities and stops. I can't recommend this enough!

A very full day filled with castle tours, beach visits and a lovely sunset in Oia. Our guide Gregory was very knowledgeable about the history and present of Santorini. It was early in the tourist season so we were informed that the musical performance would be replaced by a visit to the Red Beach, which was terrific and I actually preferred. I saw and learned so much on this tour. Highly recommend this!

I learned so much about Santorini from this tour. There were only 3 people on it so it was practically a private tour. Gregory was so knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely recommend this tour over one with a huge group and tour bus. Well worth the money.

Amazing experience by small mini bus across the island

We had an amazing day of visits and discovery through the island thanks to our guide’s experience, knowledge and sense of humor. We truly reccomend Gregory as he really entertain us with stories and information, keeping important moments of freedom to do shopping and pictures. We visited several unexplored part of the island, not as commercial as OIA and we loved them.

A small group has the glorious advantage of a quick turnaround at every halt and a van accesses those spots that the big bus can never reach. It becomes more personal as the guide handles the 18 strong group( typically 6-7 sub groups), with personal attention to any queries and most importantly assists in taking photographs of the sub group. Selfies don't always do justice. Grigori, the driver guide was extremely articulate, humorous and interesting while recounting the history of the region. Also find time to locate and visit Megalochori Bell tower, caves and the " Heart of Santorini", some walking invoved. There are places, even small vans can't reach

This tour was so nice and even in the off season, we felt like we got the best experience of Santorini. Our group was small, and our tour guide Gregory was so amicable to all. He knew so much and answered all our questions. While there is walking on this tour, it is not particularly strenuous and as long as you can climb stairs, this tour is a must!

Unbelievable views from everywhere you look!

We had a different tour scheduled but it was canceled, we ended scheduling this one instead and we are glad it worked out that way. Gregory made this trip an unforgettable one. He is so knowledgeable of the island and its history. During this time of the year not everything is open but we didn’t feel like we missed out on anything. Gregory was very accommodating. Would highly recommend this experience.

This is a real nice way of seeing the best of Santorini in a day. Both of us are senior citizens and visited in Oct 2023. Our Tour guide was a very pleasant and knowledgeable person (the name, unfortunately, slips my mind) who made our group feel very comfortable and took great care to explain to us the nuances of the places we visited. It was a small group in a comfortable mini bus and the pace was quite relaxed. The tour started with a nice interactive musical session at an interesting museum of musical instruments maintained by a talented man and included visit to Castles, lunch at beachside (expenses not included), a wine tasting trip and concluded with sunset at Oia. It included hotel pick and drop. Overall we got what we expected. Recommended.

All About Santorini in 1 day

Why is Santorini all white with a little blue? Who built the castles and why? What's it like from a local's perspective? When and how did the island get so many cliffside hotel rooms? Where's the best place to see a sunset? Why are vineyards in Santorini different than any place in the world? Find out answers to these questions and more and see parts of the island most tourists don't get to see. Our tour guide, Gregory was everything we could have hoped for. Plus shopping, plus photo ops, plus wine; It was a quite a day.

Good tour, but AVOID the music "symposium!"

Our guide, Gregory, was GREAT! Unfortunately, for us, the most memorable part of the tour was a negative. We were told that after Oct. 15 the tour would not be going to the music symposium. This suited us just fine, as we had NO INTEREST in it. Part way through the tour we were surprised to be escorted into a courtyard and told that now it was time for the music symposium. The venue was beautiful, but the symposium itself consisted of enduring a 30 minute talk by an overly dramatic lady, followed by a self absorbed performance by her musician husband. At one point, he handed out drums and instructed us to beat them while he marched in front of us and played the flute WITH HIS NOSE! It was abysmal, but we were a captive audience left with no other option. With a triumphant bow, the musician congratulated us on becoming a band and, mercifully, the "presentation" ended but the pain did not. A set of doors opened up and his wife reappeared, credit card reader in hand, to collect 13 euros per person and offer souvenirs for sale. At the end of the day, we were out 26 euros for a "performance" that we DID NOT WANT and were told WOULD NOT occur. As for the husband and wife team, they made 377 euros from our 19 person tour plus whatever refreshments and souvenirs they sold. Not bad for a little over an hours work! I understand that some people probably loved the symposium and to each their own, but we didn't appreciate this being sprung on us at an additional cost and given NO other option!
