Amazing private tour with Manuel!

Our private walking tour with Manuel was by far the highlight of our stay in Toledo. Manuel shared his extensive knowledge of the complex cultural and political history of Toledo, as well as showing us the wonderful architectural and artistic highlights. We mostly walked through back roads away from the crowds, but also went into one of the last remaining synagogues in the city and saw the amazing painting by El Greco in the St Tome church. Our walk through the Jewish Quarter was particularly insightful. The history of Toledo came alive with Manuel, who was also so friendly, humorous and patient. The best three hours you’ll spend in Toledo!

Excellent experience of Toledo

Our guide Daniel was a phenomenal host and gave us a great tour of Toledo. The night prior to our day trip he texted us and we told him we would be arriving early - he gave us some suggestions on what to do. Then we we met him he customized our tour so we would see some different sites. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history and made it a great experience. After the tour ended and we got to the train station we learned that our train to Madrid would be significantly delayed. I texted Daniel and he immediately responded with some various options to get back to Madrid. We ended up taking one of those options and made it back that night. Excellent service.

We were lucky to have Manolo as our guide in Toledo for a 3 hour tour. Always showing us around the virtual labyrinth of the city, we maximized our time, learned a ton, and the four of us greatly enjoyed it. I would strongly recommend this kind of day trip for such a special city.

Diego really set the bar high for future tours. His passion for his city is apparent and its easy to see why. We explored areas we never would have experienced without his insider knowledge; from buildings, history, art, local cafés. He made sure we left with as much knowledge of the city that we wanted, even when it went over our allotted time. We decided to stay in Toledo after the tour was complete, to enjoy the Christmas Markets...Diego made sure to show us various safe ways to travel back to the station when we were ready. We cannot thank Diego enough for the best tour we have ever experienced!
