Exceptional guide in an amazing city!

Javi was a wonderful guide with so much knowledge and passion for Toledo and all the treasures of history we discovered. He gave us very helpful pointers for our stay. We learned a lot, had fun and felt like we had a new friend by the end of our time together. We hope to return and explore more of the city with him!

First of all, Toledo is a destination not to be missed. The history, architecture, and mixture of cultures is totally unique. We also really liked the itinerary for this tour. After a train station meetup, a taxi drove us to many viewing places; setting the tone and overview for what follows.

Our guide was Manuel (Manny) and he was terrific! From contacting me the day before to make sure I knew where to find him (and to make sure I knew to get to the Madrid train station 30 minutes early to get through security) to taking his time at our panoramic stops to his great sense of humor and great knowledge of Toledo and Spain, we had the best time. Toledo is beautiful and I highly recommend this tour! Great way to see Toledo.

Valle was an amazing tour guide. My entire family agrees this was the best day of our trip in Spain. We enjoyed the tour thoroughly and the panoramic views of the old city are breathtaking. We went on a Sunday when the cathedral was open at 2 pm but luckily our train was later and we had time to see that on our own. I cannot say enough good things about Valle - she was an excellent guide and I’m so glad we booked a private tour of Toledo for our family.

This tour was definitely a highlight of our week in Spain. Lidia was so kind and knowledgeable, the entire experience was fantastic from start to finish. She is a local that knows everyone and everything about Toledo and such a pleasant young lady. She recommended a restaurant to us and made a reservation for us at the start of our tour so that we would have someplace set to go to afterwards. Went above and beyond afterwards to check up on us and made sure we had a taxi lined up to take us to the train station well after the tour had ended. Could not recommend her more! Gracias por todo Lidia!

Fernando our guide was wonderful. Had the skills of a professor in a class that you love with no test at end. The city has a rich history with interesting architecture. The view on the top by taxi is well worth it . We went at the end and luckily the fog had cleared. Thanks to Fernando for making it so memorable !!

Could not have been a better visit. Lidia is a knowledgeable local guide and able to provide a wonderful description of all of the sites we visited. Also gave a recommendation for lunch after the visit that was very good. Suggested where to shop for specific things we were into on and even arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the end of our day to take us back to the train station

It was a perfect tour! We were greeted at the train station by Pablo, who first asked us which places we hoped to see today. We decided to go entirely with his recommendations and he promptly whisked us to a breathtaking view of Old Toledo from a vista across the river via taxi (very welcomed in the July summer heat). It was a lovely way to be first introduced to Toledo and one of the highlights of our vacation. We were then dropped off at the Jewish Quarter on the southwest side of Toledo and made our way on foot through the historic streets, stopping in a beautiful preserved synagogue (Sinogoga de Transito) and the cathedral. My favorite parts of the tour were the initial view of the city from Mirador del Valle de Toledo and the interior of the Cathedral. Pablo was very warm, approachable, professional, knowledgeable — an absolute pleasure to walk with for a 3 hour tour! We learned much interesting history and ended the tour in Plaza de Zocodover with easy walking directions from there back to the train station and also where to grab a taxi if needed. Be prepared that if you do this tour you will get 18,000+ steps in! If you want a tour with less walking just tell the guide as he was very receptive to our preferences. We were glad we did the private tour and felt it was well worth the price. Highly recommend !!
