What To Expect

Be ready for 9am pickup at your Amman hotel. Depart in an air-conditioned vehicle for the Jordan Valley, relaxing and enjoying the scenery on the way. 

Your first stop is a location east of the Jordan River that is believed to be the site of Jesus Christ's baptism. See more than 20 Byzantine and Roman baptismal pools, churches, and caves uncovered during excavations in the last few decades. 

Depart for the city of Al-Salt, where your guide will lead you on a walking tour of the Harmony Trail. Visit hightlights such as the Al-Khader Orthodox Church, the Great Mosque, the English Evangelical Hospital Complex, Al-Ein Plaza, and the Dormition of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church. Learn how the lives of local residents who follow both Christian and Muslim faiths are intertwined. After you walking tour, you'll have some free time to explore before returning to Amman for drop-off.
