Hot springs not worth the time

We were picked up by a driver, he did speak english but he is not a guide. we did everything on the tour. I would suggest not booking this tour because the hot springs are not worth it al all. No sanitary changing facilities and mostly the hot springs is used by local families that tend to disaprove of western bathing suits. do the dead sea instead of this.

Excellent guide and driver

Our trip, thanks to our guide and driver, was excellent snd very interesting. Thanks to the advice received and flexibility offered, we could explore Madaba in detail, not just limiting ourselves to one church, which most of the tours do. We got good advice to skip places for which weather was not adequate and enjoy longer Mount Nebo and River Jordan. Many thanks!

My brother and I went on a “bro trip” for the first time in years. It can be difficult the older you get with family and work obligations. Anyway, we had a great time and got to see some amazing sites including Mt Nebo, the Baptism Site and the Madaba Mosaic.

We are so sorry to hear this, the tour details mentioned everything about the tour, when you book a tour with a start point far more than 50 KM from the city sure it will be expansive, when you book the tour at early morning without have any sleep after along travel flight sure you will be tired, nervous and sleepy. Our tour guide Mohammed was excellent. His English was very good and he never rushed us at any of the sites after he explained where to go and he took care of our bags while we had a swim in the hot pools.

I loved the tour. The tour guide was super nice. I didn't like that we were supposed to have a lunch at the hotel in the hot springs and we have it in another place. Also we didn't have access to the towels at the hotel neither to the inside hot springs.

We are sorry for this, but because of COVID-19 each guest should bring his own personal things like towel, if you ask the driver he will tell you about it. CONTRA: Tour startete 1h30min zu spät, lange Fahrzeiten zwischen den Sights, Guide (Mohammed) stresste immens (keine 10min Zeit in Madaba - hier wird nicht die Stadt, sondern nur 1 [!!!] Mosaik ohne Zeit für Fragen besichtigt), Guide hielt sich nicht an zeitliche und örtliche Abmachungen für ausgemachte Treffpunkte (was bei Ortsunkenntnis schnell zu Unruhe führt); Guide wirkte weder interessiert noch informiert und generell eher unsympathisch, forsch sowie nicht touristenfreundlich; zuletzt wurde ein unangekündigter Halt eingeführt, um uns Dead-Sea Produkte zu verkaufen (trotz verspätetem Startzeitpunkt, Desinteresse, Müdigkeit und Kopfschmerzen der Teilnehmenden); zwischenmenschlich kein gutes Erlebnis; unbedingt Eintrittspreise selbst bezahlen, denn die Argentur schlägt mindestens 50% darauf!!!; Guides informierten uns nicht über etwaige Tourausrüstung (Badegewand & Handtücher, Badeschlapfen etc.); Sights waren okay, aber wurden durch die unangenehme Stimmung in ein falsches Licht gezogen; Ma‘in ist generell sehr verschmutzt, vorallem die Umkleiden waren katastrophal, wenn nicht gesundheitsgefährdend; im Taxi wurde kaum mit uns gesprochen und auch die Englischkenntnisse waren mangelhaft PRO: sympathisch wirkender Fahrer, grundsätzlich interessante Sights EMPFEHLUNG: Frauen sollten für Ma‘in unbedingt einen Badeanzug mitbringen - das Resort ist vollkommen männlich dominiert - dementsprechend wird man als Frau hier als Objekt betrachtet und „begafft“

First of all thank you for your review. - Right, you started late, but Mohammad contact you to inform you the Pick up will be at 9.30am. - Long travel time between sites, we cant do any thig about it. - Sorry, but Mohammad isn't a tourist guide, he is an assistant for you from the company to help you to do every thing mentioned in the tour easily . - Madaba ( St. George’s church ) take 10-15 min to visit and this point mentioned at the tour program . - The an unannounced stop wasn't introduced to sell you dead-sea products, but it was a rest point to use Toilets, eat something, drink some thing hot( which you invited to for free) or to let other participants pray ( as what happen in your case) and try Dead Sea products without necessary to buy any thing. - I am sure Mohammad payed the entrance fees in front of you and give you the ticket directly and the amount mentioned on it ,anyway thank you for your trust in the tourism agencies . - For equipment, you know that you have to bring your towel with you and you understand its a water site. - You can send your note ( Ma'in is generally very polluted, especially the changing rooms were disastrous if not hazardous to health) to Ma'in management or write a review about it on Tripadvisor, Facebook or any where ales, and you had the option to go to Ma'in hotel area for extra charge but you chose the cheapest option.
