We learned a lot about Guatemalan politics on this tour as well as about Antigua. I felt like we were rushed because we spent so much time on the politics. What really turned me off was our tour guides response to our 15% tip--- he actually said " oh great, enough for a pizza"

Taking this walking trip was a fantastic way to learn about Antigua and Guatemalan history on my first day in country. My guide was good company (which is more important when you are traveling solo) extremely knowledgeable about the city and provided me with some great recommendations for the rest of my trip. Would highly recommend.

Geovani was very knowledgeable, funny and charming. He gave us so much wonderful information about Antigua and the history of Guatemala in general. Our very talented tour guide Giovani really brought the history and culture of Antigua to life. His extensive knowledge about Guatemala held our interest throughout the walking tour, including for our eight-year-old son. Great tour and knowledgeable guide. He was talking very fast though and was an hard to understand at times. The guide was very nice though and helpful at taking pictures of us and asked us what we would like to see, since we were pushed for time. Overall I was happy with the tour and would recommend it.

We love going on walking tours as an introduction to the city/country! Luis was very knowledgable and answered all our questions and was helpful with recommendations. We really appreciate his good sense of humor, too! Many thanks for taking us on the walking tour despite booking only 2 hours in advance. We also appreciate how flexible the guide was and met us at our hotel and started the tour there, and lingered longer with us even though it was getting dark, just so we can see a few more things and check out the new Starbucks!
