Kristine was a great guide. Very informative on the history of the area has you proceeded thru the tour. Food was great at each stop. Go hungry because you’ll get more than your monies worth of food.

We had a wonderful time. We stopped at 5 places and had greek food at each stop. All food was amazing. The guide tried to.pick out less common items so that we could try new things. She also added in allot of background at each stop. Also as we walked from one place to the next she provided info about each neighborhood we visited. There were 10 people on the tour, which was a good number. We were able to talk to the others so we met new friends also. I can tell you we were so full after the last dinner course, but I was able to get the baclava down at the last stop! All food was wonderful and our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly! I highly recommend this food tour, but come hungry!

What an incredible experience and a different way of seeing the neighborhoods of Athens. Heleni was so very very sweet. Excellent food portions. She took us to places that we may not have gone in our own. The hosts at each of the places were so very sweet too. We had never done food tours before. So glad we did. Note that you will go to more traditional Places and not the crowded touristy ones. If that’s your expectations then this is not for you.

Best food tour ever and I’ve been on a few!! Zephie (don’t know about the spelling) was the most incredible tour guide!! She shared the history of her country/culture as it has influenced the foods she loves. She took us to 5 incredible restaurants and asked us at each what we’d like to try and experience. She ordered the most incredible dishes for us to sample and drinks were included (which is very rare on most food tours). I highly recommend this experience - your taste buds will thank you!!

You make many more stops than the ones that are listed on the website. We started off at a Greek pie making bakery that featured spinach pies, leek pies and dessert pies. But don't fill up, because the heavy eating is ahead. Our guide (I am ashamed to say I don't remember her name because she did a fantastic job), was a real foodie who understood the Greek gastronomic tradition. Some of the sites included artisan honey, Greek cold cuts and cheeses, specialty stuffed fried dough balls, and stuffed vine leaves. There were the usual suspects like souvlaki and moussaka, but lots of local dishes that you wouldn't suspect. Don't eat ahead of time. This is dinner and then some! Highly recommended.

All of the food was great! Each food sampled was delicious and all choices were foods, the true Greek’s enjoy! We also had plenty of spirits to keep the evening entertaining. The Guide was so very delightful and charming. Can’t remember her name but would like to attach a pic so she can hopefully get her due recognition.

Cristina was amazing, she went above and beyond to make sure we had an epic memorable culinary experience! She was knowledgeable, caring, super charming with wonderful communication skills, it was a pleasant surprise that when she saw me translating to Spanish to my 84yo mother she immediately started connecting as well with her in Spanish. I truly believe that this food walking tour at night is awesome to start your adventures in Athens. We started our tour in a 100 yo restaurant famous for the phyllo pastries (chicken, leek, cheese “tiropita” and spinach pie “spanakopita “) then we got Koulori in a local stand, simply delicious😋 We walked and learned so much about local culture, then we went to Sabbas for souvlaki and gyros with tons of tzatziki sauce simply delish ☺️ After taking pictures at the Monastiraki square, one of the oldest neighborhoods of Athens, located at the heart of the city we head for dinner to a wonderful place with great views of the Acropolis. There we had Moussaka, Yemista (Backed stuffed tomatoes and peppers hollowed out and backed with a rice and herb filling), greek salad, fried calamari and bread 😋 Finally we went for dessert and got Loukoumades (Fried balls of dough spiced with cinnamon and drizzled with honey, the pistachios flavor was incredible 😉) A night to remember thanks to Cristina, highly recommended♥️

This was the best food tour I’ve ever done during my travels. The restaurant and food selections were great choices. We had a wonderful group of about 8 people from various parts of the world, our guide was great, very personable and very knowledgeable. Elana was very knowledgeable about Athens history and presented many interesting facts about the different neighborhoods we walked through. The food at each stop was very good. There is a large dinner at the second to last stop so pace yourself with the gyros and beginning stops.

We did the Athens Evening Food Tour with Katerina and had a great time! All the food was delicious and we appreciated Katerina’s commentary of the history and significance for each dish. You can tell that, Katerina is a foodie and loves her job! If you are wondering if you’ll have enough food on this tour? Yes more than enough! We were already full after the second stop of the food tour! Katerina also went above and beyond when my friend lost her phone at the end of the tour.
