All day private Athens tour

We saw all the ancient sites and cultural sites of Athens. We moved at our own pace and our driver and guide both were quite knowledgeable and interesting. The SUV could have held more people if a group is larger than ours.

Fotis was an excellent driver/tour guide & we felt safe with him. We were the only couple in a private car & went to all the itinerary in a relaxing timely manner. We were on our own when we went to Acropolis, museum, etc but wife would have preferrred a guided tour, But with the amount of time, we were able to see the highlights of Athens.

Our tour guide, Fotis, was the best part of our tour. As we traveled to our destination, he told us where we were going and gave us historical information and the significance/importance of what we were going to see at each location. He provided us ample time to see everything we wanted at our own pace and gave us a good meeting spot to return to after we texted him we were ready. He took us to a great place for lunch that had amazing Greek food based on what we wanted to eat. This experience was the best tour we have had in the past week and a half and we have been on over 6 experiences in other cities like Paris, Rome, and Pompeii. It was paced well, informative and well done. If we could have given more than 5 stars we would have! The price we paid was securely worth it!

As it was the first time for the group of students from the United States to visit Athens, I think the experience was very positive and quite pleasant, the different monuments of the city, the explanation provided by the excellent guide, the equally high-quality transportation and the time it lasted, as well as the flexibility with the group in terms of stops, photos, drinks and lunch were very good.

Great tour of Athens! Our driver, Panos, gave us a great tour. He gave us a lot of information about Greece, as well as showing us all the best of Athens. When he dropped us off to tour the beautiful historic sites he was always on time to pick us up.

Alexander was fabulous! His knowledge of Athens was amazing and we learned so much history! The tour was done at our pace (I have a walker) and he catered to our every need. Alexander was funny, down to earth and super friendly. We had the most enjoyable day we possibly could imagine! We saw everything on our bucket list and more. We couldn't have asked for a better private guide than Aristotle. He showed us many parts of Athens and was so patient and kind we couldn't believe it. He was a history major and shared a lot of interesting tidbits with us. He was very concerned about our comfort and that we saw everything we wanted to see. He really is a remarkable young man, and we were lucky to have him as a guide to get the most out of our trip to Athens. We would highly recommend this tour.

Aristotelis Karampelas was an amazing guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable having a formal education in history, answering all of our questions as well as prompt, friendly and polite. He was happy to adjust our itinerary when we requested it. When we saw the changing of the guard ceremony he had inside information as he was one of the honor guards during his time in the army! It was the best tour we had in almost a month of touring Europe. You will not regret requesting him.

Good thing this tour purchased the comb tickets in advance. We skipped the long long line to visit the places. So many tourists. Our driver is good to explain some basic information. Do enjoy the drop off & pick up convenience. Would like to have the tour company use Whatsapp to confirm pick up time & location on all the tours thur Viator the day before departure.
