Turn right onto Evripidou. You will find us opposite (Evripidou 90) on the 5th floor (googlemaps: CookinAthens)

    It was so much fun and sooo delicious! We made great food, wonderful memories, and new friends. Delightful teacher and assistant- I felt very confident making unfamiliar food under their guidance. The location was a little hard to find; look for the CookinGreece logo, and go down the hallway to the elevator (5th floor). The experience was well worth it. Go hungry and be prepared for a feast!

    We enjoyed learning authentic recipes from the pros. The two teachers were excellent and made the class so much fun! Highly recommend!!

    What great fun!! We love food and what better way than to learn a bit about how to prepare traditional local cuisine and then enjoy eating it with newly made friends! On arrival it looked like a very unassuming building but there is a clear sign on the side saying Cookinathens - so behind a big white metal door we found ourselves able to take the lift to the 5th floor where we were given a warm greeting by Marilena and her team Artemis and Olga. The cooking space is light and airy and access onto a lovely balcony with views over to the Accropolis. There were nine of us from UK, USA and Canada and Marilena went through the menu we would be preparing which included Dolmadakia (stuffed vine leaves), Greek Salad, Tzatsiki, Eggplant Papoutsakia (aubergine stuffed with seasoned mince & topped with bechamel sauce) & to finish Saragli (Rolled baclava). Don't be put off you you don't do much cooking - you are given clear instructions and shown each step of the way. When all was done we then all sat down to enjoy the fruits of our labour and taste all the delicious dishes we had been part of making along with some wine and beer. It was a great way to spend a lunchtime thank you so much Marilena for a lovely time - the only thing that would have made it better would have been for you to join us to eat and chat over our meal! After the event it was lovely to receive an email including the recipes for the dishes we made and many many more! Thanks again for a great time & would reccomend

    Class and food were amazing plus we get the recipes! We made our own phyllo for cheese pie. Learned how to drain cukes for tzatiki, fill and roll dolmas and how to spice moussaka. Chef and assistant were both charming and patient with easy to follow instructions. Other class members were fun. We laughed a lot and enjoyed the cooking and eating, sharing our creations with a glass of wine. Can’t recommend this class enough.

    We had a wonderful time learning with Marie. She is very knowledgeable and patient. Each dish was prepared with great instruction and outcome was delicious! The location was in an interesting part of town and a little difficult to locate (maybe it was just us being overwhelmed), but Marie was quick to find us and start our lesson. It was a great day!

    We did the lunch booking. The ladies did a great job explaining everything and keeping the work area clean so we were able to transition easily between dishes. Everything was timed perfectly so when we finish the last dish it was time to eat. We made 5 dishes and they all worked well with each other to make an amazing lunch.

    We had such a memorable time. Marilena Was super sweet, kind and attentive. We made the best food we had while in Greece. She even sent us the recipes afterwards to make at home. We recommend doing this!

    I was in Athens to visit my son who is studying abroad in Greece this semester. The cooking class was a great way for us to spend time together learning about Greek food and culture. Marilena and her assistant were wonderful - creating an entertaining, informative, and delicious afternoon!

    This is a must do while in Athens!! Marilena was a great teacher. We made tzatziki, Greek salad, cheese stuffed peppers, cheese pie, pastitsio and saragli for dessert. Marilena had easy instructions to follow and then emailed us all the recipes and many more. Would highly recommend this experience.

    My daughter, 16, found this for us to do while visiting Greece. It was hands down our favorite excursion. The hosts were fabulous and we had a blast learning how to cook authentic Greek food—we had an even better time eating it! 10/10 recommend.

    The chef made the experience a lot of fun as well as being informative. The whole group (10) were all involved in cooking the dishes and were delighted with the delicious Greek food we produced. An enjoyable way to spend a few hours and then eat a sumptuous dinner. Highly recommended

    The food preparation was a great group collective while having our own individual prepared dish. Our chef made our vegetarian selection a great separation that was a great alternative to the group collective. Baked eggplant with freshly made tomato sauce.

    The staff was amazing. The went above and beyond to make this experience unforgotten We were celebrating my sister's bday and they even baked a cake for us. The food was fenomenal and the place super clean.

    Good time, we had a total of 8 people (3 other couples). The food was great and plenty of it. The techniques needed aren’t difficult, but I did actually learn a new rolling technique! Overall it was a great experience
