What To Expect

Taste the local flavors of Greece during this half-day small-group cooking class in Athens.

Your cooking class is run by an experienced and passionate instructor who demonstrates traditional family Greek cooking.

Under the instructor’s watchful eye, prepare an authentic Greek feast. Menus vary seasonally and according to what’s good in the market, but you’ll typically prepare several starters, a main dish, a salad, and dessert.

Then sit down with fellow food-lovers to enjoy your 3-course dinner, washed down with a glass of wine, beer, or soda, as you look across to the Acropolis. Extra drinks are available to purchase from the restaurant should you wish.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Stella was absolutely amazing! She made this class so much fun. There were two of us "solo" travelers and a sweet family with two daughters (elementary and middle school) in our class, and Stella found a way to directly include the girls in the cooking experience with the adults. The food was awesome! I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone--whether you have a lot of cooking experience or not. You'll love it!

Niki was a great cooking instructor - very warm and gracious personality and clear guidance. We felt we learned so much about the Greek and Cretan cooking style and had a fabulous meal at the end!

Social, fun activity whether you are a solo traveller, couple or group. The cooking lesson is interesting and enjoyable and it's great to have a relaxed and friendly dinner afterwards eating the meal you have cooked together. Our host was knowledgeable, friendly and fun.

We visited Athens in shoulder-season, so this event ended up being a private class for our family of four. Our instructor, Estella, was knowledgeable about food and culture. She did a great job making this an interactive experience for everyone including our 9 and 12 yo sons. Everyone was interested in getting involved and excited to try all the food they had prepared. The restaurant staff were welcoming and helpful. It was a great evening.

We had the best hostess and group of people to cook with. The food was cooked family style and it was good to learn how to cook Greek food! We met so many amazing people and afterwards we got to eat what we prepared. Stella was amazing, the food was excellent and I recommend this 100%

Loukia our cooking instructor was delightful. She explained everything really well and ensured we were all involved in the process. We made 7 dishes and got to enjoy them for dinner afterwards. The Hill Restaurant where the class was held had a full view of the Acropolis and Lycanettus Hill. Definitely recommend if you are after a different experience

What a great instructor. We had so much fun making lovely food. We made great friends as well. The view was amazing. We had dinner on the third floor where we were served. It was a great night highly recommend. My 12 son also recommends.

It was very well organized, entertaining and informative. Easy to follow instructions and follow along. The interaction was great! Not only did we learn about Greek culture, we experienced Greek food! Great menu and accommodation was made for those with food specific diets. Would love to do it again with a different menu.

When they say small group, it was a small, just my wife and I. Niki took the time to teach us the in and out of Greek cooking. Time flew by, and before u knew it, it was eating time. Niki was fantastic and I would recommend this cooking class for everyone

Truly a great way to immerse yourself in Greek culture! Our chief was knowledgeable and passionate about this class. My only complaint is this was more a preparing class rather than cooking. The food came out amazing!

We weren't sure what to expect as our family had never done a cooking class before but we had a wonderful, fun time. Stella was amazing, charming, and very knowledgable and we loved the stories she added about Greek life and her Grandma and Grandpa. We would highly recommend this to foodies and non-foodies (like us!).
