Oud driver Theo was extremely friendly and helpful, along with having a tremendous knowledge of ancient Greek history and the local geography and cultural. He made the tour much more memorable and enjoyable and we would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to have a tremendous time touring Greece.

I want to be upfront and say that the tour itself and our tour guide were lovely. Having a private vehicle was nice as well. With that being said this tour is extremely overpriced, considering we paid 300+ each and still had to pay at the start of each site ( this is clear on the site). The tour guide did not come to each site with us. For the amount we paid that should have all been included and for such a luxury experience it felt cheap!!! So all we really got for the experience was a tour while in the car, the ride and lunch. I would feel like $250 would be a more appropriate price for this. Especially with the cost of living in the area, this tour seems priced specifically to take advantage of international travelers! With that being said, I thought our guide was lovely. The restaurant was nice. I also am concerned that the tour guides are not compensated well. The tour guide never said a word but I was able to piece things together from the cost of things and come to my own conclusions. The biggest part I find insulting was how the tour owner paid for our seats ahead of time so we could get particular seats, then asked for the money back while we are on tour (TACKY) and asked for the receipts (meaning he is going to use it on his taxes, even thought he did not pay for it). This btw sir is fraud. Representing you paid for something you didn’t to the government. The tour while a luxury experience gave the appearance of Being cheap, I would say this is more a reflection on the owners cheapness and not the tour itself!

Awesome day in the Countryside

This was an awesome day in the country. The sites were amazing, particularly the Cave of Lakes. Theo our guid was the best!!! He made us feel at home, took us to a great restaurant and ordered all the local delicacies. I would do this tour again and request Theo. Highly recommended

This trip is so well planned and organized. We were in contact contact prior to work out details. Our guide Theo was so pleasant to hang out with all day. He was very knowledgeable and thoughtful. The car was immaculate and he was a safe driver. All the details! From plenty of bottled water and even cookies to give us energy on our climb. He always told us how much time prior and what to expect. Each stop breath taking. We learned so much and truly enjoyed his company. Our 10 year son did as well. He made sure we had our seats on the train (kicked out non English speakers taking our spot), had umbrellas for some light rain and squeezed in an extra spot because we had time. I would certainly tell everyone to do this tour. The Pelonpenese is gorgeous and every single detail was well planned and perfect.

A great tour if you have multiple days in Athens

I did this tour with 5 friends. We had a great day with Theo. He arrived on time in a very nice and comfortable luxury van. He was super friendly, his english was perfect and he was very knowledgable and informative. We packed in a full day of sites but I would have to say that The Cave of Lakes was my favorite stop. We felt very much taken care of. He even set up last minute transportation to the airport for all of us. I highly recommend Theo and this tour company.

Great day tour from Athens. Theo was excellent guide - extremely knowledgeable. Railroad a little disappointing - but walk through town, lunch and memorial were wonderful. Highlight was walking through the cave of the lakes!

This tour was amazing! Nikos was an awesome tour guide...really more like a host. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and wanted to give us an authentic Greek experience rather than a purely tourist experience. We couldn't choose a favorite among our stops because each place was unique, interesting, and well worth the visit. Lunch was delicious! It was the best meal we had during our 9 day visit to Greece. That is saying something, because we loved all our meals during this trip! My daughter and I are so glad we took this tour! It was the highlight of our vacation.

Theo our guide was a charming young man, very polite and knowledgeable. The day was one big adventure exploring new parts of Greece away from the busy tourist traps of Athens. The tour had a good variety of interesting places to visit; ruins, amazing caves and a ride on a small cog train up the mountain, where we had a lovely lunch. This full day tour is a must if you have limited time in Greece and want to see as much as possible in one day. It was lovely to meet Nikos also.

Wonderful tour and Theo was a great guide! My boys had fun on the railway and the alpine town was worth the trip. My husband and I would love to go back and stay in the ski village when we come back. The trip was all that it advertised. This was our first full day in Greece and it was a great introduction to the vast history of this country. The tour of Ancient Corinth was especially meaningful to us as Catholics - to stand in the same spot as St Paul. The museum was very interesting. We had a great lunch in a ski town after a memorable train ride up the mountain. Then the underground caves with lakes were jaw dropping. Theo was the best tour guide. He is so knowledgeable about Greek history, so that was a great education in one day.
