We pickup from all Central Athens Locations and the Cruise port at your convenience. If your location in not listed we will be in touch with you after booking to confirm it with you. AIRBNB'S: For Airbnb's please provide the exact address. Please be outside your residence for pickup in case of limited parking or waiting time for your driver. LUGGAGE: If you have luggage please provide details of quantity so we may provide the appropriate vehicle AIRPORT PICKUP: For the Airport and locations outside of Athens there may be a supplement. We will advise on booking. SOUNION SUNSET. If you want to end the tour at Sunset in Sounio just let us know. Your tour start time may then be adjusted slightly depending on the time of year (not available with Small-Group option).
What To Expect
Your tour begins with pickup at your city hotel, airport, or port and transport on board an air-conditioned Mercedes to the Acropolis, where you’ll bypass the crowds with skip-the-line admission tickets and head directly inside. Explore the Parthenon, Temple of Nike, Temple of Erechtheion, Herodes Atticus Theatre, and Acropolis Museum at your own pace before continuing on with your driver to the city center.
Stop at the Plateia Syntagmatos to visit the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and take in the Academy of Athens, Maximos Mansion, Panathenaic Stadium, Temple of Olympian Zeus, and Arch of Hadrian from the comfort of your vehicle.
After a pause for lunch (opt for included lunch or free time to dine on your own), set off with your driver to Cape Sounion to visit the Temple of Poseidon, taking in views of Lake Vouliagmeni and the Lagonisi coastline along the way. End with drop-off directly at your hotel or other Athens location.

Cancellation Policy
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

We had exceptionally good time with the tour guide Mr. Will. He was very knowledgeable and explained to us about the various locations we visited with the help of Ipad and other illustrations. Excellent conversationalist and has been very patient with our inquiries. He understood our requirements as senior citizens and did all he could do to make us comfortable. We had a very enjoyable drive with him at the wheel as he was a very safe driver. We are so grateful to the tour operator for making him available to us whole day. Had a great time with our driver, Dimitri, and our guide, Eva!
My travel companion uses a wheelchair, and Dimitri and Eva were very knowledgeable about how to access the accessible parts of the sites. Full disclosure: the acropolis and temple of Poseidon were only partially accessible. The acropolis museum and other sites on the tour were fully accessible.
Lunch on the water was excellent! The fish tasted as if it was caught that morning.
If you're interested in ancient Greece, I'd recommend this tour and hiring the professionals guide. Eva's depth of knowledge was awe inspiring, and she was very gracious in answering all of our questions.

Demetris was a great tour guide and flexible with our schedule. He is also very knowledgeable about the history. It was nice to see the main sites in Athens but then also to see some of the surrounding area outside of the city. Our lunch by the Agean Sea had a beautiful view, but the food was not that great. Overall, we really enjoyed this trip!

The guide, Vasilis Doudis, was the best, really provided a lot of insight and information. We had plenty of time at our stops, and a great lunch at a local restaurant. We have done many tours in our 4 week trip, Vasilis was definitely the best guide!!

Our driver Petro (not sure if I'm spelling it correctly), was wonderful. He explained so well everything we were seeing and doing. Gave us many details and back stories. Made sure we saw everything and got us there safely. He answered our questions and was very knowledgeable about everything. He clearly knows and loves his city, the surrounding areas, and his job. What a very enjoyable day! Everything we saw was amazing and the lunch along the seaside was delicious as well.

We had a great time during our tour. Our tour guide Vasilis was extremely knowledgeable, professional, kind, and friendly.
we learned a lot about greek mythology, history, and politics. We visited all the main sites in Athens and surrounding areas.
We felt very comfortable, and taking care of during our tour. We also had a delicious lunch, next time we visit Athens we will most definitely book with this agency and request Vasilis.

Since this was a private tour and therefore your guide is extremely important, it's imperative you get a good one. Dem was terrific. He started our tour at Poseidon's temple which is not close to Athens. He calculated we would have no people there and then we could do the Acropolis later. He was 100% correct. When we got to Poseidon's temple there was one other couple there. It was like having it to ourselves. By the time we finished there were 3 tour buses pulling up. Going to the Acropolis later in the day was a winning move. Was not nearly as crowded as it would have been in the morning. All in all a great full day in Athens. Could not recommend more highly!
