  • You will receive an email from the local supplier with important ticket & audio instructions.
  • Booking requests received between 17:00 to 8:59 a.m. (UTC+02:00) are served from 9:00 a.m. and on.
  • An Android (version 5.0 and later) or iOS smartphone is required. The audio tour is not compatible with Windows Phones, iPhone 5/5C or older, iPod Touch 5th generation or older, iPad 4th generation or older, iPad Mini 1st generation
  • You will need storage space on your phone (350 MB)
  • Please note that due to the uneven ground the tours are not wheelchair accessible
  • Viator Voucher is not your entry ticket and is not accepted at the site
  • Download the ticket(s) & audio tours while on WiFi prior to your visit - no wifi/4G on-site
  • Ticket(s) need to be either printed or downloaded on your phone.
  • Ensure that your smartphone is fully charged prior to your visit & that you bring your earphones
  • Wear comfortable shoes, a hat and sunscreen during the hot summer months
  • EU citizens aged 0-25 are entitled to have Free admission tickets. However, they have to wait in line to show ID card or passport.
  • From 1st of April to 31st of October Non-EU citizens, between 6 to 25 years, upon presentation of their passport, are entitled to 50% reduced admission.
  • You will receive a link in a separate email from the activity provider with the BookingPage url to choose the time slot to enter only Acropolis Hill. Please use this link to download your e-tickets and the app for the audio guide.
  • Time slots are not applicable for other venues
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 999 travelers

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Not worth the money

Acropolis was amazing, but we unable to download the tours on both our phones. Tried messaging tour operator with no reply. It was not practical or feasible to use one phone to listen to guides. Did not include tickets to the Acropolis Museum, which unfortunately we did not realize until we arrived there. So basically spent over $100 for tickets to the Acropolis. Would not recommend.

Better than the hassle of a group tour

Great option if you're looking for details without being tied down to a group tour. I was happy we had read the reviews and fine print. You definitely have to download the tours beforehand. It took a few minutes to get a hang of looking at the maps and following the tour but it was very detailed. Well worth the money.

Great Skip the Line Tour with No Guide

Great skip the line ticket for the Acropolis. Clio tours was very communicative as we didnt have the app downloaded to obtain our tickets but in speaking with the Clio representative, he immediately sent the tickets to my email and we were able to access the acropolis without incident. We didnt download the audio tours for our smartphones but still enjoyed the sites. It was nice NOT having a tour guide and we were able to visit the sites at our pace. Highly recommend. :-) Thank you Clio tours!!!

Easy to use the ticket beginning Sunday, October 15. Went to Acropolis first during our early morning time slot. That was the best time to go, as all the tour buses hadn’t arrived yet. It turned out pretty warm later in the morning, so to get through with the Acropolis early before heat and tour buses was important. The other sites were informative as well. The audio guides were useful, but included way too much information to absorb in the time allotted at each site.

The app kept failing and became useless at the Acropolis. The email I was sent said the tickets we had included the Acropolis museum. They did not. We got there and had to purchase them. I sent an email to the merchant, but have not received a response. I do recommend prepurchasing your tickets to the Acropolis, the line was very long.

Tour would take hours to complete

If you want to hear every detail, this is great. But, when it’s 95 degrees at 9am, you don’t want to spend all day. We started listening & then about 20min later stopped. Too much information.

With temperatures over 105 deg by noon the early morning 8 am trip is the way to go Recommended being inline by 7.30 or its a 45 minute wait to get through the entrance Such an incredibly beautiful and inspiring visit

Combo is the way to go!

The combo tickets are the way to go. Pre-purchase them before arriving in Athens. Make sure you get to the Acropolis early as there still will be a line to wait in for entrance into the site.

Great to get a combo ticket with audio. Although the audio was interesting it did give us information overload. However, it was better than reading all the information signs. The cost through Viator was £43.71 pp. You can buy a combo ticket (without audio) locally for €30 (£25.76pp)

Great audio tour

Great holistic experience. Using the app, getting the e-tickets and navigating the audio tour was truly user friendly. We liked going at our own pace and in the order we wanted. It's good for 5 days so we listened to it some even after we returned home. It's written with photos so you can benefit even if not in front of a structure. Would highly recommend.
