If you want to see Austin by bike but don’t know the routes to take to see most of the city’s highlights in just a few hours, book this Austin Bike Tour. This tour explores on regular, hybrid bikes and covers about 10 miles (16.1 kilometers) of ground throughout Austin. What To Expect

Make your own way to the bike shop at Zilker Park to meet your guide.

Get outfitted with your bike and helmet, then set out with your guide to see the best of Austin. Pedal along the hike-and-bike trail that runs through Zilker Park and around Lady Bird Lake. Turn north to check out the Italian Renaissance Revival of the Texas State Capitol building.

Learn about the city's history as you roll through downtown. Head down Congress Avenue and over the Congress Avenue Bridge, where 1.5 million bats take shelter between the months of March to November.

Continue to South Congress, Rainey Street, and the boardwalk trail. Get great photo opportunities throughout the bike tour.

Children must be accompanied by an adult and be a strong enough bike rider to keep up with the group. If not, our Peace Love and Zilker tour might be a better option for groups with children.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Michael was our guide and he was great! We are a family of four with an 11 and 13 year old and it was perfect for us. Active way to see Austin and showed us cool highlights of downtown and some ‘off the beaten path’ places as well. Would definitely recommend.

Had an absolutely fantastic ride with Toby yesterday in Austin. Truly an amazing experience through the parks and historic downtown. Guide was knowledgeable, patient with slow riders (not the kids BTW) and safety conscious. Took us to some hidden gems in the city. Hitting a city on a bike is always the best way to see the most, fast. Highly recommend this tour!

Had an amazing bike tour around Austin with our incredible guide Ace!! Ace greeted us as we entered the Barton Springs Bike Shop, asked a few questions to get to know us, fitted our bikes and off we went. Ace was super friendly, patient and knowledgeable about all things Austin and the broader Texas history. Throughout our ride he added in lots of personal anecdotes about his life in and around the area, making it personal. Would highly recommend this tour and Ace for anyone interested in seeing and learning more about Austin in a two hour window.

Biking through Austin with a knowledgeable fun guide was a perfect way to explore this fun city! The stops highlighting some history and fun facts about Austin made it so enjoyable. AND the icing on the cake was that our guide timed it so we caught the solar eclipse on a bridge, with eclipse glasses ready for our viewing.
