Relaxing sunday morning ride
Trish_B, Sep 2021
We had a very enjoyable two hour ride with Mike, who showed us around the parks and recreation areas of central Austin. We stopped often to take pictures and listen to Mike tell us interesting tidbits about each park and view of the City. Mike is knowledgeable about Austin and its recreation areas and he's also very friendly. The pace was perfect - not too fast, not too slow. I would recommend. (Thanks Mike!)

A Fulfilling Experience
WAYNE_M, Jun 2021
As far as bike tours go, this is the real deal! Mike not only provides a wonderful session of exercise, but knows Austin like the back of his hand. He is full of interesting and pertinent facts and details about the city and it's history. One learns more on this tour than you would had you lived here for an extended period. He can also point you in the right direction and make excellent suggestions for other interests and activities you may be pondering. An interesting dude with knowledge of the city like the back of his hand.

Disappointing
Charlotte_T, Jun 2019
We arranged this tour in Austin TX for two adults and an 8- and 13-year-old nephew and niece. The guide didn’t bring a bike appropriately sized for the 8-year-old so the seat height was a real challenge. Mike the guide and owner was kind at first but quickly lost patience; struggling to manage the bike, our youngster lost control of the bike once, and Mike was worried about the bike. He left us behind as he rode fast and far ahead, so we juggled the pacing for our little trooper. Mike shared his negative experiences from his childhood concerning his parents’ divorce, something that wasn’t appropriate for the tour we had hoped to enjoy. It was a very hot day, and the last two miles of the trip could have included a quick stop at the spray park, even for a moment. It just wasn’t the quality of experience we have come to expect from Viator.

Hi, it's unfortunate your experience wasn't up to par. The tour is for ages 12 and up and you registered an 8 year old that couldn't ride a bike well. All bikes get a safety check after a wreck, for the safety of clients. Sorry for the misunderstanding, but it shouldn't have been booked as a group tour. Thanks for the review.

This was our first time in Austin...
Janet L, Nov 2016
This was our first time in Austin, and we only had 3 days. So I was excited to see that there was a bike tour of the large Lady Bird Lake area. The tour was excellent! Mike was fun, engaging, chatty and, most importantly, extremely knowledgeable about the area and Austin in general. It was a great, energizing way to start our day. Loved it, and would highly recommend!
Response from Host, May 2019
Thanks for the review Janet! Austin awaits your return.
