Wouldn't Scan

Viator sends you an email with a barcode you scan upon entry. However, the barcode would not scan. You have to take a screen shot of the entry ticket and email to the aquarium...a little annoying because you're suppose to be skipping the line, not having to get out of it to perform an extra step.

The aquarium was not worth the money. Far too many people and too little to see. The only redeeming factors were the large tank you walk through and the penguin exhibit.

When we arrived the line was very long but since we purchased our tickets through Viator we jumped right to the front. Only thing that was a little annoying, we had to email our tickets to them when we got to the front.

We Visited ist 11 years ago and it was horrible, Aquariums are designed careless, they are small and too much Pool animals in it. 11 years later, the Same , Nottingham changed. Poor animals and Far to expansive for those few Aquariums. I am very angry about myselfe that I supported this with money, but I trusted the Description.

Underrated aquarium, skip the line debatable

I don’t think you need skip the line, unless it’s a really busy day or something. The Aquarium itself is pretty empty, which is both ashamed it’s very good, but also good in a way, as you can relax, take your time and enjoy. Area for children to play, fantastic tank and water tunnel, with seating to relax and enjoy, the environmental message is there but very subtle and not preachy, which is nice, great variety of fish, everything is well presented. Lots of feeding times, do not miss those!

When we first booked the tour, we read it stated it was one of the largest aquariums in Europe. We are from NJ and have a huge aquarium here. We wanted to experience a new aquarium. Also upon entering the aquarium they take a picture. At the end you are able to purchase the photo. The young lady apparently had different prices depending on if you were foreign. It was just an ok experience.
