What To Expect

Travel in a spacious sedan for up to two passengers, or a minivan for up to six passengers. Sit back and enjoy the ride to your accommodation without worrying about taxi meters or getting lost. It’s a private Barcelona transfer service that’s available seven days a week.

Price is per person, based on six passengers per vehicle.

Please be informed that the space for luggage in our cars is limited to 1 suitcase per person (max 20 kg). Otherwise the clients will be requested to take care of the extra luggage on their own or settle the extra cost (if confirmed with the supplier in advance).

If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

I am someone that does not like to leave things up for chance and prefers to plan....so I arranged for this transfer from the cruise terminal to our hotel. I picked a 'safe' time that would ensure we would have disembarked and gotten our luggage, but unfortunately chose a time that was hours after those two things occurred. I called the operator to see if they could send someone out earlier, but they could not accommodate that. In fact, the driver showed up over 30 minutes late from the pick up time, which left us standing at the cruise terminal for 2.5 hours (and terminal staff kicked us out of the terminal itself, so we were waiting outside on a sidewalk). As we waited, we watched a line of taxis come and leave....save yourself the wait we had. JUST GET A TAXI!!! They are plentiful and ready to go when you are.

Not having experience with Barcelona before, I wanted the assurance that I've gotten from Viator vendors before to "know" we had a ride to our hotel from the cruise port. Knowing the situation now, I wouldn't do this again. The ride and the driver were great, but that wasn't the issue. The booking company was hard to deal with and set an arbitrary pickup time that was hours after we disembarked the ship. The workers at the cruise terminal knew these times; this was common knowledge. We didn't, however; and relied on the "pros" there to know...obviously, they didn't bother and left us hanging for more than two hours. When called, they answered simply, can't help...too bad. Taxis are plentiful and reasonable throughout Barcelona (they are also regulated and nicely appointed). You don't need a separate car service. Last time for us, to be sure. Sorry, Viator (and your local vendor)...missed the boat on this one.

Was very pleased with the simplicity of booking my travel arrangements with Viator. After our family Cruise, we choose to spend a few extra day in Barcelona and needed to be taken to our Hotel from the Port. The Driver was waiting and was easily seen.
