There is a limit of 20 people per guide, although transportation will be shared with other groups.
Please note that we reserve the right to modify itinerary if considered necessary.
Chance to see La Moreneta, Montserrat’s black Madonna, and attending the Boys’ Choir act (Optional under previous reservation through Montserrat's official website and subject to Montserrat's availability. Not included within the price of the Tour). Please note that the Boys’ Choir doesn’t perform on Saturdays, school holidays and several other dates throughout the year.

We work daily with different low-production, family-owned boutique wineries. Due to logistic reasons, you might visit another cellar instead of Oller del Mas.
Comfortable clothes and shoes are recommended as there is some walking involved.
Temperatures in Montserrat and the winery tend to be more extreme than in Barcelona. Please check the weather forecast the day before and dress accordingly. We advise bringing water, especially in the summer season.
Infants aged 3 or less may join the tour free of charge, but note that no car seat or meals are provided.
If you have reduced mobility, please contact us before booking. We do our best to welcome everyone on board!
We cater for any dietary allergies or restrictions – no need to warn us beforehand.
Please note that we reserve the right to modify itinerary if considered necessary. Please notify us if you are interested in hearing the boys' choir during this experience.

Outstanding Montserrat and Winery tour with our guide Bel! The tour was a good mix of a guided group tour, and free time to explore Montserrat on our own. Great opportunity to learn about the history of Catalonia, and meet new friends. Bel proved to be a great sommelier in addition to tour guide! We had a great time and we most highly recommend the tour to anyone looking for a day outside the city!

Amazing day out and one of the highlights of our visit to Barcelona! The guide on the bus was fantastic and engaging but didn’t consume the whole ride with commentary. Drive was just about an hour from Barcelona. Good intro tour and then time to wander ourselves. Would have liked to have time to hear the boys choir but had to leave for winery. Lesley was our guide and she was wonderful. So knowledgeable about history AND wine! Great combo. Had a lovely afternoon at Oller del Mas and enjoyed the tour and wine tasting. Perfect day out of the city with fantastic tour guides, beautiful views, and amazing wine. Highly recommend!

Excellent tour!

Our tour guide, Gus, was very knowledgeable about the area (Montserrat), the monastery, the winery we visited, and the wine we tasted. Great views. The highlight was seeing and hearing the story of the Black Madonna. There was plenty of free time at the monastery to do a little self-exploration. Unfortunately, we were unable to hear the famed boys' choir sing. Gus was also very helpful when my wife got tired and made sure she was doing okay. All-in-all, a very enjoyable day.

Make the time for Montserrat

This was a wonderful day trip that I'd highly recommend to anyone spending time in Barcelona! Finding the meetup spot was easy, the transportation was very comfortable, the scenery was spectacular, and our tour guide, Thais, was very friendly, fun, and knowledgeable about everything we did, including our wine tasting. We enjoyed having free time to independently explore once we got to Montserrat, and the provided lunch at the winery was delicious (along with the wines)! The views were truly beautiful and IMO, unmissable, given how little we had to travel to see them.

A lot of bang for the buck

This is an all day experience, so be prepared with comfy shoes, layers you can shed and water/snacks. The tour of the Montserrat area with Zahra was well balanced with guided information plus some free time to independently explore. The wine tasting and lunch was very informative and gave our group the chance to chat to meet new people. There is also a chance to shop for local foods and wines. Highly recommend if you are looking for an all day excursion that will check off a few activities.
